So... yeah, the hockey game.

Home teams can really struggle on nights like this. Banner-raisings, opening nights, sweater retirements and so on.

Lindy's job is to focus them, not fire them up anymore than they will be naturally. No one's going to want to play a prototypical road game tonight, but that's probably what they've been needing at home.

When's Winroth get his next start? One of the back-to-backs this weekend?

Disagree - Whatever makes Timmy go away, be it a trade, injury, or a freakin' alien abduction, I'm all for it.

This team looks so much better with Timmy out of the lineup.

With or without the ###### probe?

Ceremony at 7:08. Faceoff about 7:13.

Please spread the news, and if you're going, tell people in the corridors. No one should be late for this one.

Can't wait.

I really hope the place is rockin' tonight

I have so much work to do, but none of it is going to happen once 7:00 hits. I will be firmly glued to the webstream on my laptop. I wish I had time to go to this game. I have a feeling it's going to be a barn burner. :pirate:

You do realize that is a goal every 19.04776190 seconds? I'd venture to say that is a bit of an exageration. How about 180 to Nothing. That's a goal every twenty seconds which seems more practical. You weren't accounting for the time to do the faceoff..

We need to get that number under 19.0 secs.

More goals.

HSBC should be rockin tonight. :w00t:

I for one can't wait to see and hear HSBC alive again! I hope our arena becomes a place where it is tough for teams to come into and play. It needs to be loud and the crowd standing behind the team even if they are down.

On this date in 1987, in a hospital at 219 Bryant Street, a mere 3 miles from The Memorial Auditorium, I was born. The number one song in America?

LET'S GO BUFFALO!

I hate when people do that and I remember what I was doing that week.

Was just listening to WGR and got a really good laugh at Gerbe's and WGR's expense. WGR had the interview with Gerbe talking about how it was his idea to put the puck in the ice and they followed up the interview saying "Buffalo, always being SHORT on leadership"

haha OUCH!

But I thinks it's great that Gerbe showed some initiative.
