bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 this shows the commitment that this owner will make around not just the on ice but everything associated with this team
bob_sauve28 Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 If only it was true... If they loose tomorrow it sure will seem more like hell than heaven
notwoz Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 If they loose tomorrow it sure will seem more like hell than heaven Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I think we will see the Sabres play with a sense of urgency tomorrow evening. And this might be pushing the envelope here, but we might even see a few hits from Connolly!
IKnowPhysics Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 In a way, the new Sheriff is in town, and high noon is 3pm EST six days from now. They'd better posse up or pack their bags. I trust Regier's upcoming moves (or non-moves?), and I sincerely hope they're the good first steps in the new era. Outside those 60-minute blocks of ice time, this week is the Darcy Regier Show.
matter2003 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 "Is this heaven?" "No, It's Buffalo"
dumb_dumb88 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 "Is this heaven?" "No, It's Buffalo" Well, I think it depends on the POV of the hockey fan. For instance, those 3 Sabres fans that live in the small village of Etoumbi, Congo most likely believe Buffalo is Heaven. I bet they'd love the chance to support the team right at the Arena.

elcrusho Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 They need to sell out every game for 10 years then you can call it hockey heaven... Get rid of the GD platinum price levels No ticket should be over $125 EVER... If he was serious about not making money then lower your ticket prices to fill the building to capacity... 18,689 is a FAIL IMO
dumb_dumb88 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 that was from "Field of Dreams" where his Dad walks out of the cornfield and asks his son "Is this heaven", to which he replies "No, its Iowa"... Hes like glass he hits ppl and he breaks and then we are stuck with him.... We should wrap him in bubblewrap before the game just to be safe.
Assquatch Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Ok, so I guess my hockey fan in the jungles of Africa joke didn't go over well  Have to speak with Akmed the Terrorist and J. Dunham on my act :D It's spelled A... C... Phlegm... M... E... D.
