X. Benedict Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Florida is pretty much everything I hate about Trap hockey.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Why is there two teams in Florida? It's embarrassing to see that many empty seats. I saw tickets at center ice in the 100s for $13 on stubhub last night. I would much rather have a new rival in Hamilton than all these fake a$$ teams in the south.

Like most pro-sports teams, they don't draw if they don't win. I'm sure many remember the crowds at the Ralph prior to the Super Bowl teams and possibly losing the team. There were more players on the field than fans in the stands. Don't forget, that even during the Hasek years the Rigas family would give away thousands of tickets. I remember getting tickets to a Devils game by simply ordering HBO.
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Florida style of play is that known as "###### hockey"--essentially play 3 or 4 guys back like we have a lead, even though we don't but just because we are happy to get one point, then while the other team takes chances try to capitalize with odd man rushes. This all makes for about the worst game of hockey you can watch. No wonder no one wants to go I would be falling asleep if I had to watch this every game. Thank god Buffalo plays with balls.
Calvin Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 this is a really dull game.. i'm going to struggle to even make the third period

The Bills and Sabres aren't winning teams. Prior to this years the bills sold out. Besides, there have never been crowds this small in Buffalo. I don't buy into the concept of "growing the game" by putting these teams in the sunbelt. Florida is only 3 points behind Buffalo, yet no one shows up. Put another team in Ontario or Quebec and fans are going to fill the seats, no matter if they are winning. There is revenue sharing, correct?
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 WEBBBBBBBBBEEERRRRR HELL YEAH
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 So glad Weber was finally given a chance. I think he is a real bright spot this year.
X. Benedict Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 So glad Weber was finally given a chance. I think he is a real bright spot this year. He's been good.
X. Benedict Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 finally this game is going to open up.
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 That goal made this game a little more exciting thank god...Vanek almost makes it a 2 goal lead
Freeezo Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 finally this game is going to open up. Â Philly got a quick one!!!
LET"S GO BUFFALO Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Why can't nieds score it's like he is putting goals on a pedistle or something
SwampD Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 finally this game is going to open up. Good call.
X. Benedict Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 If Ennis doesn't stop cutting across the middle with his head down, he is going to land on a stretcher.
Calvin Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 the game was crying out for a Sabres goal.. thank goodness for that!

bob_sauve28 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 You can't call icing and not consider that interference
bob_sauve28 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 If Ennis doesn't stop cutting across the middle with his head down, he is going to land on a stretcher. Gees, I hope not!
deluca67 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Damn Myers! I needed that SH goal. WTF.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 Fear of losing teams is a great motivation. Sabres are locked down for the next 30 years. I doubt the Bills are going anywhere. And the NFL is a completely different monster that can be played and sold anywhere in North America.
