LGR4GM Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 and to the rangers, it would be rape. or is it "forcible rape?" "let's ship out 19 goals, 43 points, and youth for 8, 26, and a glass jaw!" never said it made sense. you would have to throw in a pick and Darcy would never pull the trigger so its irrelevant
LaLaLaFontaine Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I now will go to bed, but i really doubt that there will happen anything with our team. I believe i will wake up tomorrow and nothing happened, then i go to work come back check this forum and nhl.com and there won't be a substantial trade. Am i the only person here, who thinks that way? LaLaLafontaine
Two or less Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Most trades happen between 1pm and 4pm, so, don't get too flustered when theres nothing going on when you wake up.
LGR4GM Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Not a trade but Phillips signed with Ottawa for 3yrs 9million. http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Travis-Yost/Chris-Phillips-Officially-Agrees-to-Extension-With-Ottawa/134/34064

shrader Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 This seems like the most appropriate thread to ask this question. I usually watch TSN's online coverage each year. Unfortunately, it's not loading this time around. So what should I listen to now?

Unfortunately, it's not loading this time around. So what should I listen to now? I came here to ask this, too. I thought that I watched it on TV last year (either one of the ESPN's, maybe the Ocho, or the NHL Network for free), but doesn't seem to be available. As you said, TSN's TradeCentre Live is not loading.

As you said, TSN's TradeCentre Live is not loading. I just fire up TSN's trade tracker and leave it running all day. Not as nice as having the online feed, but it gets the job done.
LGR4GM Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/live_2011_nhl_trade_deadline/ this will cover other non buffalo trades.

I'll have something similar running. I've had trouble loaded their show in past years, but it eventually connects. So I have two browsers open trying to load it. Eventually it will go through. Until then, I can follow the tracker. There won't be anything good until at least 11 anyway.
FogBat Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Thrashers get Radek Dvorak and a 5th round pick from Florida in exchage for Niclas Bergfors and Patrick Rissmiller
Iron Crotch Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Dennis Wideman and his -26 from Florida to the Caps for a prospect and a 3rd round pick.
wjag Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Wash gets Pathers D man Wideman, Panthers get Wash F Jake Hauswirth + 3rd Pick 2011
shrader Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I wonder how Florida is going to stay above the salary floor. They're dumping any contract they can find.
X. Benedict Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Dennis Wideman and his -26 from Florida to the Caps for a prospect and a 3rd round pick. Actually, that point shot makes a ton of sense for Washington right now.
LGR4GM Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 rumor is Howard resigned with Detroit heard it on sportsnet, not that we thought hed hit RFA lol.
nobody Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 rumor is Howard resigned with Detroit heard it on sportsnet, not that we thought hed hit RFA lol. 2 year extension for $4.5 million per sportsnet.ca? And people think that the Red Wings would want to trade for Miller and his $6 mil per year? They would rather use that addition $4 million a season on D.
FogBat Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It's been rather quiet today. I thought that it would have been a bit more active than this.
shrader Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It's been rather quiet today. I thought that it would have been a bit more active than this. It always starts late. Things will start to pick up around 1.
nobody Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It always starts late. Things will start to pick up around 1. Right - it is only 9:15am on the west coast - some of those west coast GMs might have decided to get a good nights sleep.
