Calvin Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I know it may sound bad but I'm kinda glad Tim Connolly is sitting today. doesn't sound bad at all. it's as joyful as watching the Sabres win. if only it was TC done for the season instead of Roy.
Calvin Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Good to know he'll only be outweighed by 30-40 pounds instead of 50-60. if he shows Gerbe's pluck i'll take him any time over TC
inkman Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Little help please...I'm at a local watering hole in Rochester, they have directTV. Am I going to be able to watch the game, and if so what channel. Thanks ahead of time. Nm manger found it
Iron Crotch Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Did my eyes deceive me? Niedermeyer? (or however the hell you spell it) Edit: yes, they did... it was Goose.
Iron Crotch Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Anyone else actually watching this game?
Weave Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I have the game on. Not sure I can accurately say I am watching it tho. More like it is on in the background.
thesportsbuff Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Miller with the shutout today. Until approximately 3 minutes to go in the third period you mean
kishoph Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Don't they call tripping any more ? Of course in LINDY's bazzaro world VANEK ends up with the least ice time of all forwards, good strategy. Not only the least amount of time, but every forward has at least 1 minute more.
wonderbread Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Nice defensive play for the 1st. Regardless of score the Sabres seem in control. So far... <_<
repster Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Anybody know the Sabres record when they score first vs. when they don't? It seems to me like they get scored on first most nights but I wonder if the record reflects losing more when this is the case. Nice to see them score first today. Keep it up.
Oakstream Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Its very nice for me living in Sweden when games starts this early! :) I like our young guns, they are much more fun to watch than Hecht, Poms and TC. If only Kaleta played, and even Stafford, the way hes been scoring of late. Gerbe is looking good this game too. He will score :) Maybe two in four seconds this time?
nfreeman Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 At the game. Arena less than half full. Of course, that means that I was able to sit 4 rows behind the Sabres bench for $44 per ticket. My section is probably half Sabres fans. Not much to report on the game itself, other than the Sabres seem to be trying to win this one.

bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 watchin on slingbox while watching nfc championships
Iron Crotch Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Serious high stick by Jochen. Isles announcers are calling it a cheap shot.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 2-2. If we lose, I think we look at this game as the official point that the Sabres rolled over and died for the season.
bunomatic Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 16-5 shots this period for the isles
kevin Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 any idea why were in our home unis, and why is connolly not playing?
Iron Crotch Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 16-5 shots this period for the isles What's even more frustrating about this is, IMHO, Rick D.P. looks shaky... we should be throwing all kinds of junk at the net...
sabresnutinphoenix Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 any idea why were in our home unis, and why is connolly not playing? hopefully this means he'll be dealt....
