Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Well who is else gonna go in net hero???? how do you know it would be 2-2? it could be 8-0 if miller was still in net for all we know.
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Its obvious what Lalime can do. He's done it since he was brought in as a backup. He loses games. Back-ups typically get in every 8-10 games or so. Its the same throughout the league. The reason Ruff is riding Miller is he has no trust in the back-up that can't win games. I wouldn't put him in either. And go back and read your post about the 5th grader show and tell me how a guys supposed to get your comparison with the way you worded it? Get over yourself. Back-ups get in every 8-10 games or so. Lalime has never had that chance. He gets a bad reputation because 1) he gets put in when it is too late....ie} today. The offense has scored one goal so save your breath. In theory, IF Miller let nothing else in, it would be 2-1. 2) Not at all. Again, I say: when the team admits not playing hard in front of thier back-up, then the team is to blame. Beyond that, if you go back and look at shots faced and score, you will see Lalime isn't all that bad. Just because he is misused doesn't mean is not capable. Does that make sense or do you need me to break it down? Don't want you to feel insulted by my opinion and analogies.
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Game could be tied if they had a better backup. Watch it DeLuca, the Maze will jump all over you. :clapping:
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 how do you know it would be 2-2? it could be 8-0 if miller was still in net for all we know. Hey, go FLUSH yourself.
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hey, go FLUSH yourself. is that all you got? lame.

DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 is that all you got? lame. As lame as your screen name?
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Miller plays this game and we have a shot, it would probably be 2-2 right now. Take away the 2 goals by Lalime. Think about until those goals, it was still 2-0. It is now 2-1. Your comment lacks validation since we would still be losing by 1.
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 As lame as your screen name? yeah dude cause dr holliday just rules man.
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Watch it DeLuca, the Maze will jump all over you. :clapping: This team could be in a playoff spot if they had a backup goaltender and also a Coach that can get his team ready to play.

Your comment lacks validation since we would still be losing by 1. Was Lalime in net for that last goal or was it an empty net goal, hard to tell...... :bag:
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Watch it DeLuca, the Maze will jump all over you. :clapping: I mean, I just don't like irrational logic:) Sorry!
bob_sauve28 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hey, at least we get a shot at the Islanders again soon!
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 The silver lining of the season? All these good young players beginning to emerge. This Pagula could be walking into a real nice situation Remember when Pomminstein and Vanek were those good young players beginning to emerge. :wallbash:
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 yeah dude cause dr holliday just rules man. Ever seen the movie Tombstone? Toilet brush would have been better, lol
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 With the notable exception of Ron Darling, if you are not "Smarter than a Pro Athlete" you need to get to Gates. Dude....to the well twice? Don't make me take down my clappy hands...... I'd like to thank the Sabres for sucking tonight. In my boredom I meandered to the ponies and took down a giant double at Fairgrounds. Between that and PA getting a bath, it wasn't a lost night.
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hey, at least we get a shot at the Islanders again soon! That's great if you are a masochist. Always look forward to that third consecutive a$$kicking.
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 4th goal was a stinker by Lalime. Looks to me that 3 outta 4 goals were cause of lousy goaltending! Uuugggggg! He sucks ! So, that leave 1 bad goal, Lalime, 2 bad goals Miller? Not a math major, but based on time play, Miller is the stinker...

bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I mean, I just don't like irrational logic:) Sorry! We're all sabres fans here and when it comes right down to it we all want the same thing. Sometimes we don't agree but we're all on the same side. No hard feelings.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 So, that leave 1 bad goal, Lalime, 2 bad goals Miller? Not a math major, but based on time play, Miller is the stinker... you are not making sense dude
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 It sucks to think that if we lose the next one to the islanders these three games could very well be the games we look back at as being critical to making or not making the playoffs. I realize its more than that but if we miss and they sneak in...
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 you are not making sense dude I get what he is trying to say. He's seems to be basing his point as if Lalime was a capable goalie and had proven so in the past. Which is just not the case.
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 you are not making sense dude SIGH Here is the quote I was replying to: "4th goal was a stinker by Lalime. Looks to me that 3 outta 4 goals were cause of lousy goaltending! Uuugggggg! He sucks !" Breaking my post down.... "4th goal was a stinker". That being said, I was thinking he meant: one of the goals was Lalime's fault. "3 out of 4 were cause of lousy goaltending" leads me to believe that, sans Lalime's fault goal and the fact the post only mentioned ONE of the goals while Lalime was in net, that the poster thought the OTHER TWO GOALS were Miller's fault. Hence, my reply. I might be wrong, not trying to speak for the poster. Just speaking my opinion.
MichFan Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 This has become all too typical of the Sabres this year. When they should be looking at a 4pt weekend to close in on 8th place, they lay an absolute egg. Couldn't hit an open net. Couldn't hit an Islander. Hecht has become a wasted roster spot. Myers had his typical brain fart. Weber has learned the brain fart skill from Myers. Connolly was invisible again. The vets are getting shown up by Gerbe and Ennis. Don't understand this team. Goaltending is the least of their concern. Too many tin men.
