bob_sauve28 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Ennis has Neudermyer for a line mate???
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 When this game was 2-0 I believed the sabres were going to come back. Then the goaltender that can't win games let in the 3-0 goal. My original comment was based on that. At that point in the game they were carrying the play. No reason to believe when down 2-0 and carrying the play that if you have a goaltender who can stop a puck he gives your team a chance to come back and win it. Just my opinion. still confused.
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Ennis has Neudermyer for a line mate??? Being punished for some reason. Is Tim Connolly in the line-up?
Rip Titwide Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Here we go. Nieds (Neids?) with a hat-trick, Hecht with the OT winner. The best prediction involving "Nieds" would be retirement following this season. He clearly has about as much in the tank as Grier. I apologize in advance for the negative tone but, I sometimes envy these bottom tier teams that go with a full youth movement because they're just a more exciting way to watch the same result.
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 How do we even know what Lalime can do? He never plays? And, not going to lie....if I wasn't used at my job, I probably won't always be on my game. How great are at "Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" In any event, Lalime is the LAST of our team's problems. How many games has Miller been stellar in? I cannot really think of any this year. He has been pretty weak. And, as noted in another post (yes, I will find it if you need me to), the numbers Miller is putting up this year are par for the course for him. I think fingers need to be pointing to people like: Hecht, Grier, Myers, Ennis, Rivet, etc.... Well I'd like to believe I am smarter than a fifth grader but there's really no point in insulting other posters on here simply because they have a different opinion than yourself. I believe that goes against the spirit of this message board. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure you'll point that out.
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 still confused. Sorry,I guess I can't help you with that then.

I believe that goes against the spirit of this message board. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure you'll point that out. And the comparison was lost. When things are not constantly practiced or reinforced, then we lose what we once knew. So, for example, if I went onto "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" I would most likely not win all of the money because I have forgotten things I have learned when I was in 5th grade. THAT WAS MY POINT! Not that I was insulting you. I was saying: How do we even know what Lalime can do since he never really plays and, since he plays once every lunar eclipse, how can one expect him to be on top of his game? Get over yourself. YOU made my analogy into an insult, not me.
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 still confused. ROTFL. Well, I think it is this: IF Miller was in net, we could come back from 2-0 because he let in 2 goals and could overcome that. BUT, since Lalime is net and let in another goal, we could NOT overcome that. Riiiiiight.
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 And the comparison was lost. When things are not constantly practiced or reinforced, then we lose what we once knew. Which might very well be the case, but...as I have watched professional sport my entire life, it it MORE THAN EVIDENT, one does not have to be smart to be a pro athelete ;)

YOU made my analogy into an insult, not me. Its obvious what Lalime can do. He's done it since he was brought in as a backup. He loses games. Back-ups typically get in every 8-10 games or so. Its the same throughout the league. The reason Ruff is riding Miller is he has no trust in the back-up that can't win games. I wouldn't put him in either. And go back and read your post about the 5th grader show and tell me how a guys supposed to get your comparison with the way you worded it? Get over yourself.

Hawerchuk Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 4th goal was a stinker by Lalime. Looks to me that 3 outta 4 goals were cause of lousy goaltending! Uuugggggg! He sucks !
bob_sauve28 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 The silver lining of the season? All these good young players beginning to emerge. This Pagula could be walking into a real nice situation

deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Game could be tied if they had a better backup.
