deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 But instead of eating your flesh away, the venom makes you suck at hockey. The venom coaches you? :w00t:
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Lift Your Arm. Smile. Complete a sentence. Now get to Gates. Now I'm confused. EDIT:it's gotta be a WD reference.
Calvin Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 long diagonal pass through the middle, intercepted. about four in the last four minutes. when it's so obvious to even people watching at home that they are clogging the middle and cutting out these passes, why the heck aren't the players and coaches not seeing it.

The Islanders may not have the horses at this point. They do however get the little things done that are creating a solid base to build on. Third in the league in blocked shots and takeaways. Top half of the league in hits.
Calvin Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 okay then, that's me done for the night.. Jay and Silent Bob are on IFC
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 This is what happens when you don't have a capable back-up and have to ride your number 1 guy till he's dead tired DARCY ! The way the guys are playing right now this game is winnable but we have La-fricken-lime in net.

The way the guys are playing right now this game is winnable but we have La-fricken-lime in net. Um,... they have scored ZERO goals tonight.
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Um,... they have scored ZERO goals tonight. Um, who's been carrying the majority of the play? If we had a goalie who could stop the puck...
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Um, who's been carrying the majority of the play? The Sabres.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Lift Your Arm. Smile. Complete a sentence. Now get to Gates. :clapping:

The way the guys are playing right now this game is winnable but we have La-fricken-lime in net. How do we even know what Lalime can do? He never plays? And, not going to lie....if I wasn't used at my job, I probably won't always be on my game. How great are at "Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" In any event, Lalime is the LAST of our team's problems. How many games has Miller been stellar in? I cannot really think of any this year. He has been pretty weak. And, as noted in another post (yes, I will find it if you need me to), the numbers Miller is putting up this year are par for the course for him. I think fingers need to be pointing to people like: Hecht, Grier, Myers, Ennis, Rivet, etc....
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I rest my case I'm confused. So now the Sabres are supposed to win games 0-0.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 How many games has Miller been stellar in? I cannot really think of any this year. He has been pretty weak. What a joke this statement is, really, just this week alone he has won two games for the Sabres........But I guess you didn't watch those games.
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Um, who's been carrying the majority of the play? If we had a goalie who could stop the puck... Goaltender is the least of this teams problems tonight. It is inexcusable that this team was not ready to play again tonight. They are fighting for their playoffs lives and they start the game as if they didn't even know they had a game tonight, again. What's up with Gragnani? They call him and tell him all day yesterday he is playing forward then they play him at D? He also said that Portland plays an entirely different system? Why would your top affiliate be playing a different system?
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 What a joke this statement is, really, just this week alone he has won two games for the Sabres........But I guess you didn't watch those games. oh wow 2 games
OverPowerYou Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Before the game Thomas Vanek said something like, "We only played 20 full minutes last weekend @ NYI, this time around, we'll be ready." Really.... TV, really?
Stoner Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Where does Kevin get off wondering why the Sabres can't beat the Islanders? Come on! Didn't say much for Miller that he's sitting there with his mouth covered up like a 13-year-old. Screw the third. I'm drawing my bath now.
deluca67 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 What a joke this statement is, really, just this week alone he has won two games for the Sabres........But I guess you didn't watch those games. I think Vanek might have an issue with the idea Miller "won" the Bruins game. Montreal played the game 3 men short for the most part.
themaze2332 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 What a joke this statement is, really, just this week alone he has won two games for the Sabres........But I guess you didn't watch those games. I did watch the games. He was a huge part of the win, but he was far from stellar. Weak goals detract from something being stellar. Was he very good? Absolutely. Was he stellar? Not so much. Read the stats, but I guess you don't read those? He is having an average year at best. Last year, I was confident going into every game with him in net. This year, I am just hoping for average at best. Don't let the recent "winning streak" fool you.
SwampD Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Here we go. Nieds (Neids?) with a hat-trick, Hecht with the OT winner.
bunomatic Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I'm confused. So now the Sabres are supposed to win games 0-0. When this game was 2-0 I believed the sabres were going to come back. Then the goaltender that can't win games let in the 3-0 goal. My original comment was based on that. At that point in the game they were carrying the play. No reason to believe when down 2-0 and carrying the play that if you have a goaltender who can stop a puck he gives your team a chance to come back and win it. Just my opinion.
