Just got home and had to share. Dan was sitting up in a chair moving his arms and legs and answering yes and no questions and responding to commands. It was amazing. He even reached out at one point to shake my hand without me even asking. He can't talk yet because he still has the trache in but you can tell he wants to. He even reached out for his mom when we left to hold her hand and let her know it's going to be ok. It was awesome and extremely heartwarming. Two days in a row, this guy has had me crying tears of joy to seem him come this far and this fast.

That's good to hear. Hope his progress continues to a complete recovery.

Well it's been a long month but Dan may get out of the hospital this weekend. They did the surgery to replace the pieces of skull they took out and he's been making leaps and bounds. Thanks for all the well wishes.
