Stoner Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Ruff still going for number 500, right? Imagine that, 500 wins in 13 years! Absolutely incredible! I think we'll all remember where we were when Ruff achieved this historic accomplishment. It will surely pale, one day, to his 1,000th win, sometime during the 2027-28 Sabres season. Remember, he'll lose part of 2025-26 and all of 2026-27 to the Nanorobot Attacks.
Realist Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Don't think I'll be staying up for this one.
thesportsbuff Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 I think I'll be especially high for this one

deluca67 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Tonight can be a turning point. The Sabres have caught a break because a lot of those "games in hand" for other teams have been burned with minimal damage. With a win tonight and a Montreal loss the Sabres will find themselves only six points behind with a game in hand.

I don't even know who you are anymore. :D It will be interesting to see if they can scratch and claw their way back in the hunt, and if they do, what will happen at the trade deadline. I love these late games. I can play open hockey and still catch the third period live.
darksabre Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I love these late games. I can play open hockey and still catch the third period live. This is exactly what I'll be doing tonight. Time to get to the rink.
deluca67 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Habs got their two points in a shootout. Time to keep up.
