repster Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 The last 7-6 game I remember was in Ottawa in the playoffs. Who scored the winner?
SwampD Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Myers really needs to learn how to not hit the guy 4 feet in front of him on those point shots. He's really bad at them.
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 The last 7-6 game I remember was in Ottawa in the playoffs. Who scored the winner? chris drury
repster Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 chris drury You got it, and Stafford with his 4th!
Iron Crotch Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I love that Vanek slapper in the shootout. Sick.
SwampD Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Awesome! I think Claude Julien got a little cute putting Chara out there. They have to have better scorers than him.
nobody Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Man, Drew is on fire tonight. Sylvester with the "Happy Drew Year" there - I'll give him a  Maybe it was listening to MJ the last two games; but KS wasn't bad tonight.
bunomatic Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 With the quality of shootout goals displayed by the sabres players one has to wonder why this team can't score goals or is it simply as easy as blaming the coaching staff?
nobody Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I love that Vanek slapper in the shootout. Sick. Thomas was talking to himself after that one!
Fire Lindy Ruff NOW Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 With the quality of shootout goals displayed by the sabres players one has to wonder why this team can't score goals or is it simply as easy as blaming the coaching staff? dude comeon shooutouts are completely different than regulation.
repster Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 For once the team bailed out Miller. Anybody else watch the NESN broadcast? The guys complain about the refereeing more than Democrats and Republicans complain about each other. Big time whiners.
JJFIVEOH Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Miller needs a break...........................
nobody Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 With the quality of shootout goals displayed by the sabres players one has to wonder why this team can't score goals or is it simply as easy as blaming the coaching staff? Well you don't see the grinders in the shootout - maybe if Lindy played players like Vanek for 18-20 minutes a game instead. Miller won't like it but the fans will take a 7-6 win every night.
SwampD Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 weird game. How often do you get to see 17 goals scored in one game. That sucked and was fun at the same time,.. mostly because we won.

Were they nice and quiet in the OT when Boston had 6 skaters (plus the goalie) on the ice?
carpandean Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Maybe it was listening to MJ the last two games; but KS wasn't bad tonight. MJ is on a completely different level technically. He gets all the details in; better maybe than even his dad. Sylvester just sounds better. Hopefully, with all the people in the world, the Sabres can find someone who is pretty good in both regards.
carpandean Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Well you don't see the grinders in the shootout You don't see defense either.
Stoner Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 MJ is on a completely different level technically. He gets all the details in; better maybe than even his dad. Sylvester just sounds better. Hopefully, with all the people in the world, the Sabres can find someone who is pretty good in both regards. Someone like Paul Hamilton maybe. :) Kevin doesn't know the difference between near and far side. Another MJ playing in the background during Stafford's interview.
repster Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Were they nice and quiet in the OT when Boston had 6 skaters (plus the goalie) on the ice? I almost liked beating Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley more than beating the Bruins themselves.
