Re: Audio. On the radio, I am hearing more individual voices in the crowd. I can almost hear LGB chants getting started. Definitely can't hear as much sound from the ice.

And I am glad Rivet got one. Yeah, he's slow as hell and losing his game fast, but he stuck out being benched like a true teammate. that goal has got to feel rewarding for him. Atta boy Riv's.

It was nice. You can't even here that much ice sound when you are there. If the TV broadcast could add just a little more crowd mics (like some) and a little less ice, I think they'd have it.

 

It also would hurt to have the Sabres go up 4 - nothin' every night.

NHL Overtime is on Versus right now (11pm) and it looks like they will show at least one of the fights.

They ran a few guys from behind in the 1st pretty good. Came out yapping, but Getzlaf was willing and dropped at start of 2nd.

 

Gaustad played dirty pool in his fight from what I could tell. Chimichuri was tied up with him like they were pooped, and Gaustad threw an uppercut after they fell asleep on each other and hit him with a few more after he stunned him. Could have been legit, but seemed like bs.

 

Poor Weber got ragdolled against the glass.

 

The midgets had a lot of pep. Gerbe and Sutton look even funnier than Chara.

 

Good news on the ownership front as well. There is a renewed energy from some of those who should be carried over in a sale.

I'm excited for boxing day and the world junior games. The hockey is always top notch from these kids and it'll be interesting to see how bad guys like Kassian and Foligno want to make an impression on the Buffalo crowds. Are there any other Buffalo prospects from the other countries to watch for?

Am I remembering this correctly? Didn't Kaleta hit Blake in the past? He was either with Toronto or the Isles and was really pissed about it. It was either that or Kaleta hit someone else and Jason came in hot about it. Does anyone else remember this. I just wonder, if it was retaliation, would his suspension (if there is one) be longer?
