On the weekend, I heard WGR saying there will be no Sabres or even Ducks TV crews at the game due to some weird Versus deal. Not sure how Versus is involved but I don't believe the game is being televised, period.

After those two horrible losses down i Florida and after reading stats that we score 2 or less goals pretty much every game, I don't really feel exited for this team right now. They just don't have "it"... :( Merry Christmas.

Aside from a good regular season last year, this team hasnt had "it" in a long time. They have changed some of the peripheral pieces of the roster but havent addressed the core players that havent proven they can be successful.

 

There's more buzz about the Bills in this town being 4-2 in their last 6 games. Even when they lose they look like they give a damn.

And this is exactly what the fans have done...they have exited the building. Why does this feel like week 5 of the Bills season right now. This is the worst sports year I can remember in a loooooooong time. The good thing is that the Bills are looking up and new ownership is on the horizon for the Sabres.

I dare say maybe some of the pieces were not peripheral. Lydman enters Monday's game with two goals, 10 assists and a plus-17 rating that's tied for fifth overall in the NHL. I know he missed some games for Ducks at the start of the season but since he has been back playing, they have been a better team. Coincidence, maybe or maybe he was one player DR and Lindy should have kept ?

 

Oh well all's well that ends well although this is not over only 32 games into the season I also am not feeling it will end well (w/ Bflo in a playoff spot).

 

Okay Buffalo the hole is deeper and this is a better team than you at least record and play wise. So lets see who shows up tonight .

There is absolutely no TV out of the building, whatsoever. But there are a ton of kids in the building tonight and they are really whooping it up.

I have seen games broadcast via the jumbotron feed before on my Centre Ice package, and the game is listed to be televised. I'm not holding my breath. I will post just after the puck is dropped to let you know for sure.

i agree. But Leopold has filled his spot nicely, esp if you compare stats. I guess i was directing it to the forwards more bc thats where i think the problem lies.

Apparently the only cameras in the building will be the overheads for disputed goal decisions by the N.H.L. This game is not televised.

I have the game listed in my CI package as well. It even says that we're getting the post-game show (which we don't always get). It seems weird to me that they would go out of their way to mention the post-game show if they're not even televising it.

 

I'm fine with it either way. I actually like the radio only games. I'm not glued to the TV and can actually get stuff done while listening.

I have the game listed in my CI package as well. It even says that we're getting the post-game show (which we don't always get). It seems weird to me that they would go out of their way to mention the post-game show if they're not even televising it.

 

I'm fine with it either way. I actually like the radio only games. I'm not glued to the TV and can actually get stuff done while listening.

After the two or three bad shifts that Butler had in the 2nd half of the Tampa game I thought, "yep, that'll cost him his spot in the lineup next week". If being out of position on a play or two and a giveaway can cost the captain his spot in the lineup, it ought to cost Butler his spot as well. So I'm not suprised by the defensive change.

 

Adam sitting though? I don't get that one. I assume then that Hecht will take Connolly's spot at center and Gerbe plays LW. I'm guessing:
