bunomatic Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 This club couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from inside the barn. Watch it, we wouldn't want any negativity on this site. What with all the potential these sabres players have to bust it wide open and sail into the playoffs.
nobody Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 This games getting exciting now - for TB fans.
darksabre Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 This games getting exciting now - for TB fans. Which, it should be noted, there seem to be a lot of in the stands tonight.
nobody Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Which, it should be noted, there seem to be a lot of in the stands tonight. Amazing what having an exciting offensive team can do for a city.
nobody Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Amazing what having an exciting offensive team can do for a city. Speaking of...
notwoz Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Amazing what having an exciting offensive team can do for a city. As opposed to a truly offensive team
deluca67 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Glad to see this team hit the ice tonight with the fire and intensity Lindy Ruff teams are noted for
bob_sauve28 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 As opposed to a truly offensive team  Oh, bravo! And nice goal Pommer
North Buffalo Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 This sucks, get Connolly off the ice... where is Niedermeyer. The Sabres were playing better with the kids. At least they had some hustle. This again is painful to watch.
darksabre Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Great, now I can't even be mad at Pominville (tonight...)
nobody Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 And after 1.5 hour review - it's a goal!
deluca67 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I know it's too much to ask. But, could it be possible that this team actually comes out and plays the third period like it matters? Maybe show a little intensity like they may actually know their playoff lives are on the line? If they drop eight points behind the Bruins tonight, with the Bruins having two games in hand, the playoff dream will be pretty much over.

I don't know why you're focusing on the Bruins, the Rangers are the team with the 8th best points percentage. Bruins are 6th.
darksabre Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 5 forwards just screams Short handed goal. And as I type this, it almost happens. Gotta love it.

bob_sauve28 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Power play needs to come through
bob_sauve28 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Power play needs to come through :(
JujuFish Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Even with three games (two after tonight) in hand they are not catching the Rangers. You're fooling yourself if you think they're that much more likely to catch the Bruins
darksabre Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Sabres need to just take a penalty whenever they get a powerplay. We get more shots on the PK than the PP.
CallawaySabres Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Didn't see last nights game but oh my gosh, this is the most pathetic display of effort I have seen in a couple seasons. Really? This is how they play desperate hockey. This power play is the most blatant display of lack of skill on this team.
darksabre Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Awful penalty shot call. Who'd Vinny pay to get that one? Thank you Miller for coming up big.
nobody Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Alright - Miller's got a little shootout warmup. Now the Sabres just have to get there.
deluca67 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 It would be a great time, right now, after the penalty shot for Miller to call a TO and spend it reaming out his teammates at the bench. He's the best player on the team and it's time he act like.
