You're really still trying to make this argument? For as many calls as Chara gets away with I'd give it up.

It is his ice. He can stand in a spot if he wants. If Paille goes through him it's a penalty. What's the problem with someone coasting into the zone. Timmy does it all the time. It doesn't matter if he was in his way. He was in from of him so he owned the ice. I missed the unsportsmanlike call but the interference was a 50/50 call.

 

EDIT: and that rush amounted into nothing so how does that even matter when it comes to the final score of the game.

Nah... not for that. Savard is the only one who could possibly be suspended but I doubt it. Colin won't get to make the decisions anyway.

As much as we bitch about Stafford, he is 3rd on the team in goals having played 1/2 as many games as most of the other guys. I'll take a Roy-Vanek-Stafford line over a Roy-Vanek-Gerbe line for sure.

 

BTW - why did Lindy start the game with a Roy-Vanek-Niedermayer line? Odd...
