nfreeman Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 It's time for a no-BS win against a good EC team and division rival. They can do it if Miller is still in the zone and if they bring the same intensity they brought to the Columbus game. Without those 2 elements, it ain't gonna happen. Boston plays excellent team defense and Thomas is having a great year. They are going to have score goals the hard way -- they aren't going to come from pretty passing plays.
spndnchz Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hmmm... I know. Really? He's Portland's leading scorer, has 5 goals in his last 5 games. But, no points in three games with Sabres and only 5 points in his 16 games all time up here. Maybe he gets on the Pommers line with Adam and plays left wing? Can't break up the Gerbe/Ennis - Roy - Vanek line?
CallawaySabres Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Teams ahead of Buffalo keep winning sooooo........
nfreeman Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hmmm... I think it just means TC and Stafford are still out and they don't want to play Butler at forward again (possibly because Morrisson can't go so they might need Butler on D).

kishoph Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 7:00pm LETS GO BUFFALO! Isn't it at 7:30 pm ?
Robviously Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 LOL. First thing I thought of when I saw Versus was "DRIVE!!!!"
spndnchz Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Isn't it at 7:30 pm ? Yup, changed it. Do I get slapped 4 editing a mod? Yes. Of course you do.
nfreeman Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Morrisonn out, Butler in... Eeeeesh. I much prefer Weber/Morrisson to Weber/Butler. I can see about 9 minutes in ice time for that pairing.

Can't break up the Gerbe/Ennis - Roy - Vanek line? TBN confirms. Lindy doesn't want to change all the lines.
R_Dudley Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 So still chasin the pack, tail lights of the ones we are chasing barely in sight. If this team is serious about putting something together this year now is the time for a statement game against the team that eliminated you from the playoffs last year in an embarassing fashion. So Bflo what team is going to show up tonight ? The one that said they are SC contenders or the one we've seen as NHL pretender's ? Show me what you got Sabres. Lets go B'Lo
spndnchz Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Just thinking out loud. Does Mancari have a stellar game tonight and stays up as Gerbe goes down? All assuming Connolly, Stafford or Nieds gets better.
TheMatrix31 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Keep it rollin', baby. ###### Boston.
Weave Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I can't say that I've been real impressed with Mancari during any of his previous callups but I do like that we just got a little bigger now that he's in the lineup. I'd like to see him really use that size tonight.
carpandean Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I'd like to see him really use that size tonight. :w00t:
Figster Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Versus game! Awesome for me (Versus) :clapping:
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Uncle Vito called tonight for only the 4th time this year. Sounds like the Sabres ate a bad batch of baked beans at the hotel buffet for lunch. If Luke Adam looks EXTRA slow tonight, it's because he's squeezing his cheeks together. Vito's words not mine. 1
kishoph Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 I'm hoping that we don't have to see GERBE on the top line tonight, playing there the other night really exposed how bad he's playing. In 37 NHL games he has 2 goals, that just doesn't cut it.
