Thedefeated Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Ennis reminds me too much of Afinogenov
SwampD Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Soooooo,.. why wasn't that a goal? I'll take it, but just wondering.
Thedefeated Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Three players in desperate need of a goal....and there they are.
wallybarthman Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Ennis reminds me too much of Afinogenov Have to disagree - Ennis isn't selfish when he's flashy.
wallybarthman Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Soooooo,.. why wasn't that a goal? I'll take it, but just wondering. I'm actually surprised that we got a power play out of that one - I can see the no goal, but the penalty was a gift. It didn't count because the Ref determined that Miller was interfered with and was therefore unable to make the save. It can either be a simple no-goal call or a penalty. Although Moreau was pushed by Montador, Montador had every right to be where he was.

They said it wasn't a high stick and still ended up in the net yet no goal. Your right about the second one though. No goal, no penalty, not both. Again, I'll take it.
fiftyone Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Is my house the only one where the game just stopped working on my tv?

I think it was a pretty clear high stick. On the goalie interference, you can wipe out the goal and call a penalty. I thought it was a pretty close call, but the Blue Jacket looked to try and take advantage of the situation. Another interesting call was the boarding on Kaleta. Kaleta could easily have been called for charging as he lept into the Columbus player. Then he appeared to turn his back and bend over to draw the hit.
wallybarthman Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 No. Time Warner? DirecTV is fine.
ROC Sabres Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 I had about 15 minutes of some double kidney transplant kid. Don't know about anyone else.
bob_sauve28 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Has there been a rule change about players putti g themselves offside? I keep seeing players backing in over the line and dragging the puck behind them without a whistle. That always use to be offside
wallybarthman Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 If you'd have told me that this game would have fights and be chippy - I'd be really surprised.

As long as the player is in control of the puck they are allowed to cross the blue line before the puck. Or something like that. EDIT: Pommers had like 2 or 3 goals that were break aways like that last year.
mrjsbu96 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 i think cody mccormick has a clear purpose on this team and he knows when and where to do it. my problem with andrew peters, while i love his heart, is he just never seemed to pick the times. to me, what mccormack, standing up for kaleta in this instance, goes a long for team comraderie...

mrjsbu96 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 How the F does Kaleta get an extra two there? That is atrocious....if he was the instigator, then where is the first penatly on dorsett for the face wash on Vanek...clear case of a guy that has been labled by the zebras..

I can't figure out why it was roughing - it's either instigating or it's nothing. Did he get two extra because he won the fight?
thesportsbuff Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 how will the shutout end tonight guys?
mrjsbu96 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 I don't want to get ahead of myself, b/c there is still 7 minutes left in this game....but this won't mean anything unless we pound OTT tomorrow night....and I really want us to smoke them tomorrow night...
SwampD Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 how will the shutout end tonight guys? It won't. We own them tonight.
ROC Sabres Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 how will the shutout end tonight guys? Bad pass across the crease that goes off of a rut in the ice cut by one of our players and in. Seems to be the standard.
SwampD Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 On a side note to all this hockey talk, those Columbus third jerseys are pretty ###### sweet.
