nfreeman Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Looks like Rivet is out and we'll see Butler. Butler had 1 or 2 good games when he got back into the lineup but then seemed to backslide. Since the Devils are a pretty crappy team right now, I wouldn't be surprised if Vanek scores a couple.
darksabre Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I've missed a few games.... Can I get an "ETHRON" inside joke update? Start here. It all spirals downhill from there. http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/18029-game-discussion-thread/page__view__findpost__p__232497
nfreeman Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 It was probably 30% Sabre fans for game on a Saturday a few weeks ago...expecting more like 50-50 for a Wednesday night game with probably 11k in the stands, maybe less with the Devils struggling as bad as Buffalo. Let's go Sabres! See you there! I'll be there again. I liked the results last time, of course, Brrrrrrodeur didn't start and Kovalchuk was a healthy scratch. I can't believe that the Devils have not missed the playoffs since 1995. EDIT:I guess I don't have to worry about Brrrrrodeur again. He's still hurt. What section are you guys in?
2ForTripping Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Word on the street: LaLime is back and healthy, will be backing up The Round Mound of Rebound tonight. Charles Barkley will be between the pipes! Turrrrible
deluca67 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 These are two bad teams playing some really bad hockey right now.
shrader Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Emrick, no one cares that Leopold is a former Flame or that Ellis is a former Red Wing. You really need to find a new way to fill those brief seconds of dead air time.
bob_sauve28 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Hedberg!!!!!! He loves playing against us! 2001 playoffs
Calvin Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Hedberg!!!!!! He loves playing against us! 2001 playoffs yeah he especially loved playing us last time we were in NJ

You really need to find a new way to fill those brief seconds of dead air time. Didn't someone start a thread on that very point a couple of days ago?
deluca67 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Why was Connolly just coasting on that play? Sorry, I forgot! He's Tim Connolly, that's my answer.
thesportsbuff Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 cut him some slack bro he's tripping balls
nobody Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Emrick, no one cares that Leopold is a former Flame or that Ellis is a former Red Wing. You really need to find a new way to fill those brief seconds of dead air time. Though it was nice not hearing Kevin Sylvester before the game.
Iron Crotch Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Was that Connolly who almost scored on his own net during a delayed penalty?!
bob_sauve28 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Oh boy! That would have been a new low for our power play
spndnchz Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Power play Sabres. Oh crap. Decline it!!!
CallawaySabres Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 No need for Enron to try and make a glorious street hockey save, just keep it out of the net idiot
spndnchz Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Sekera looks better every game tru dat. Shakira Shakira!
TheMatrix31 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Another failed power play. *sigh* At least there's "activity"
Calvin Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 pretty easy to see why these are two basement teams in the East.. *yawn*, now where's that pipe again..
bob_sauve28 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Will we get to see anymore Lindy Ruff highlights? Oh, they so inspire me!
kishoph Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Was that Connolly who almost scored on his own net during a delayed penalty?! He not only tried to assist the other team in scoring, this time he almost netted one.
