korab rules Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 law and medicine, hence my multiple degrees korab. Rehab medicine and law, a strange combination. I have to say I found it odd that static popped back up in this thread. I was beginning to notice some similarities between you two.

I was beginning to notice some similarities between you two. perhaps, but im not talking out of my backside, i do know what im talking about on these subjects. You'll notice my none of my other posts in any other threads claim to have any special knowledge etc. I also havent claimed to know how the Sabres med team works but i do know how other pro teams med teams are run.

But theres absolutely no evidence of negligence on the Sabres behalf other than opinions. Anyone saying there is such evidence is very misguided.

I find it a bit funny that this is the issue that sticks out to you when reading a long argue between patty and our resident foil hat brigade.

It seems that some in this thread disagree with the highlighted opinion. You don't write like the doctors and lawyers I deal with, and I am sure Dwight can draw a similar comparison. From what I have intuited, there are a fair number of lawyers on this board. All will be reading your posts and drawing their own conclusions. Edit: Patty - Fortunately for the reading public, if you go back and delete a post the text still remains in the quote box of anyone who has quoted your message. I find it a bit funny that this is the issue that sticks out to you when reading a long argue between patty and our resident foil hat brigade. Didn't think the rest of it deserved comment. The claim of superior medical knowledge after last week's claim of superior legal knowledge tweaked my interest. Especially since nothing in his posts supported either claim.

The whole thing comes across as a complete waste. On one side, you have what you just mentioned, and on the other you have one person who based the whole thing on vet work, and another who completely flopped his argument mid-thread when he realized he was wrong (but hey, he did use to have MD in his username).

Don't forget the re-appearance of Static, and right on cue we have Hank lurking in the Aud Club. All we need is crosschecking and sabres republic to show up and we can start the group meeting and hand out meds.

Patty16 Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 ;) For other reasons kind sir. In any event the conspiracy theorists can go back to the drawing board. Miller's back on the ice, looks like Ruff got some good advice from the staff. http://www.wgr550.com/Miller-Practices--Rivet-Absent/8528882

korab rules Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Rivet is gone. Will the good news ever stop?
TheChimp Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 This happens ALL the time. You BS your coaches and med staff you're fine until you either pass that mental or physical block that says "okay maybe I should stop ignoring it". What's so curious about it? Well, the fact that he just won the Vezina, is a guy with A LOT of pride in his own development, and yet here he was, playing at a level that would have soon left him looking up at practically EVERY other goalie in the league. So waiting until this many games have gone by to admit that he was having serious issues with his groin (or whatever the ###### it is) just seems very unlike Miller. That's what is so curious about it.
TheChimp Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 ...and I never said or implied that the trainers were the ones to order MRIs. How you read that in my post I'll never know. Glad he's back. Let's HOPE it was "good advice" from the staff.
korab rules Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Whats up with Rivet? Shoulder again? Yup - re-injured it in IRAQ.

spndnchz Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Here's another rumor: swap Jason Blake and Craig Rivet straight up.
korab rules Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Here's another rumor: swap Jason Blake and Craig Rivet straight up. Do you have a cite or are you just making stuff up like every one else in this thread?
cdexchange Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Yup - re-injured it in IRAQ. :clapping: This thread is f*cking hilarious.
Weave Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Here's another rumor: swap Jason Blake and Craig Rivet straight up. Do you have a cite or are you just making stuff up like every one else in this thread? FWIW (which probably isn't much) Read Me !! I usually write about the Anaheim Ducks so it should be noted that my Ducks research lead to this HUGE trade rumor. The starting point was from a smaller trade involving Anaheim sending Jason Blake and a fourth round pick to the Sabres in exchange from Craig Rivet. This deal, which is also still possible, was connected to the Sabres naming Paul Gaustad as their next Captain.
spndnchz Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Do you have a cite or are you just making stuff up like every one else in this thread? A semi-well known blogger suggested it. I'm not posting link. It would b ok w/ me though. Blake is struggling in ANA, vet for a vet, new scenery 4 both. Same salaries, Blake's got one more year than Rivet. We've got Butler and Weber...

Not sure what to make of it, but it was religion related, so I guess it wasn't THAT weird.
