nfreeman Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Whatever your political views, today's the day. Personally, given the options for governor, I think a vote for this gentleman makes a fine protest statement, but that's JMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4o-TeMHys0&feature=player_embedded
spndnchz Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I'm going porn star. Hey, if Spitzer can get his own talk show anything can happen!
darksabre Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 ######in college, I have no time time vote. :-( do well at the polls today everyone who isn't stuck in class or work for 17 hours.

I respect your working hard in college, but let me assure you: if you don't have a family and a full-time job, you have time to vote.
darksabre Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I respect your working hard in college, but let me assure you: if you don't have a family and a full-time job, you have time to vote. Nope. Polls are literally not open outside of the hours I'm on campus today. Tuesdays are a 20 hour day with a few breaks for food and homework. Voting should really be two days. I don't understand why it's not.
Stoner Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I respect your working hard in college, but let me assure you: if you don't have a family and a full-time job, you have time to vote. Obtuse.

With a few keystrokes over the past couple of weeks you could of voted using an absentee ballot.
nfreeman Posted November 2, 2010 Author Report Posted November 2, 2010 Obtuse. With your group taking it on the chin today, I'd have thought you would've supported the exhortation to a college student to get out and vote. I must be...obtuse.

nfreeman Posted November 2, 2010 Author Report Posted November 2, 2010 Obtuse! Double obtuse! Care to go for the hat trick? Why not? WTF are you referring to? My implication that a college student couldn't possibly be too busy to vote? You regard this as an obtuse remark? He scores!! Vanek with yet another garbage-time hat trick against a SE division squad!! And the hats rain down in Atlanta! There must be at least a half-dozen!
spndnchz Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 It doesn't matter who wins, in the end, we all take it on the chin. I'll never take it on the chin. oh, nevermind.
SwampD Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Doesn't matter what "side" you are on, it's hard not to find something to agree with in here (heck, even Glenn Beck did). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXmbzLI3pnk
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I'll never take it on the chin. oh, nevermind. Your approval rating just fell from 69% to high maintenence.
spndnchz Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Your approval rating just fell from 69% to high maintenence. Hi DAD!

No, the implication that people with families and jobs -- the vast majority of Americans -- have "lack of time" as an excuse to not vote.

I did, and although it was difficult to hear and impossible to see from where I was standing, I'm still glad I went. Election Day reminds me of one of the better South Park episodes: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/154575/giant-douches-me-and-you
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 You think you have bad candidates in New York? I present to you Basil Marceaux of Tennessee!
biodork Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 You think you have bad candidates in New York? I present to you Basil Marceaux of Tennessee! He sounds drunk!! lol
mphs mike Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 You think you have bad candidates in New York? I present to you Basil Marceaux of Tennessee! WOW! I never even noticed him on my ballot!
nfreeman Posted November 2, 2010 Author Report Posted November 2, 2010 No, the implication that people with families and jobs -- the vast majority of Americans -- have "lack of time" as an excuse to not vote. I certainly did not mean to imply this, nor do I see how you could possibly infer it since I STARTED A THREAD URGING EVERYONE TO VOTE.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Hi DAD! Unless you were born in the Dominican somewhere between October and December of 2000 from the loins of a lass named Caliente, I think we're safe. To this day I don't know why she called me Doble Corona. Either it took her a few beers, or maybe it was because she rolled cigars during the day.
SwampD Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I certainly did not mean to imply this, nor do I see how you could possibly infer it since I STARTED A THREAD URGING EVERYONE TO VOTE. I voted. Although I can't remember now if it was for the Turd Sandwich or the Giant Douche.
bob_sauve28 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 You think you have bad candidates in New York? I present to you Basil Marceaux of Tennessee! :clapping: HA HA!!!
bob_sauve28 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I certainly did not mean to imply this, nor do I see how you could possibly infer it since I STARTED A THREAD URGING EVERYONE TO VOTE. Why?
