Stoner Posted October 28, 2010 Author Report Posted October 28, 2010 But, but... "we like our players"... "it is hard to make trades in this league"... "we need to execute better"... [insert Darcy-ism here] "These aren't bad people." LMAO.
Skibum Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Why not bench Myers. Maybe he needs a stiff kick in the arse. Maybe freshman year went a little too well.
darksabre Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 "These aren't bad people." LMAO. Quote of the year so far. Who says this? What GM talks like this? This man is a certified bum. If this is what he has to say to the public then he should just shut up and quit. I'm embarrassed.

darksabre Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 "You're doin' a heckuva job, Brownie." Lindy = Brown, the Sabres = Hurricane Katrina? Does Lindy quit 12 days from now?
deluca67 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Why not bench Myers. Maybe he needs a stiff kick in the arse. Maybe freshman year went a little too well. Why bench Myers? He is just following the veteran leadership. You play like crap and you get to stay in the lineup
Kristian Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Why bench Myers? He is just following the veteran leadership. You play like crap and you get to stay in the lineup  Next he'll be out injured 75% of the time to get a raise.
Kristian Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 how are they idle? He has benched players. Theres a diff between bench and scratch. You can only scratch so many players well bc you actually have to suit some up to play and roster sizes are limited. Its not like Lindy can bench everyone at once. They're idle because while he likes to bench players in the third, he doesn't bench them when he threatens to, even if said player plays like crap next game. Connolly and Hecht in seasons past are glowing examples, although I can't speak for this season as I haven't watched a game since that trainwreck against the Rangers.
