March 12, 2002 Two days after an emotional win over former goalie Dominik Hasek, the Sabres fall flat at home against former captain Michael Peca in his return to Buffalo. The Islanders shut out the Sabres at HSBC Arena, 3-0, but Peca does not score. In fact, in four games against the Sabres that season, Peca tallied neither a goal nor an assist and finished -1.
