biodork Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 This has nothing to do with the Sabres, but I read this all the way at the end of Bucky's recent article about Tim Kennedy and it made me laugh. Rangers goalie Martin Biron, after finding out it would cost about $90,000 to send his children to private schools in Manhattan: "Geez, what kind of finger paint are they using?" http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/columns/bucky-gleason/article215832.ece
Eleven Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 The guy always was, and always will be, a quote machine. And he was a decent goalie. Frankly, I feel more goodwill towards him than most other former Sabs.

I think Marty's worst problem, not only in the eyes of the Buffalo fans but also in what he expected from himself, was succeeding Dom as the starter here. I always felt he could've done more, had he been brought around more slowly. Of course the bankruptcy and Lindy's three-headed goalie monster didn't help either.
