shrader Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Glad to hear that Shrader and Cereal are all set with their Blue. Not yet. Most of the places around me don't sell it, but there's a new one that I've heard does.
shrader Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 On a side note, I just saw the 5 logos of the Northeast division listed side by side. Isn't it great to be the one that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore? That falls on you now, Ottawa.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 On a side note, I just saw the 5 logos of the Northeast division listed side by side. Isn't it great to be the one that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore? That falls on you now, Ottawa. Speaking of the 5 teams, does anybody else feel like our division has the most parity in the NHL? Toronto looked pretty good last night. Honestly, if you held a gun to my head I would pick the Sabres to win the division, but I could also see 4th or 5th. Bottomline, it should be an entertaining season.
chileanseabass Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 #1 - hopefully the sabres look better than they did last year #2 - hopefully i can watch the game. my digital cable went out last night and the tech can't come until 5:00 pm tonight. i'm gonna be pissed off if he can't get it working again.
nfreeman Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 I'll be watching out at the man cave under the stars with some ice cold blues and a fire roaring. Can't wait. You have an outdoor man cave?
Claude_Verret Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 You have an outdoor man cave? Yes. A picture is in my profile. Unfortunately I don't enjoy the Bills games out there too often these days, the RedZone channel is usually on by halftime.
cdexchange Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 So happy to finally see this thread. Love our chances tonight, and I just found out a few minutes ago that I'm going to the home opener tomorrow. GO SABRES!
nfreeman Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Yes. A picture is in my profile. Unfortunately I don't enjoy the Bills games out there too often these days, the RedZone channel is usually on by halftime. That looks outstanding. Game on!

SMIRNOFF Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 I am all ready to go. Been waiting all summer for tonight. Time to crush the jinx of the Sens!!! Plus, I need something to take away the pain of the Bills season. Go Sabres!!!!
Cereal Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Glad to hear that Shrader and Cereal are all set with their Blue. Well, thank you for caring. I hope we can be friends.
shrader Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Well, thank you for caring. I hope we can be friends. We're brothers in beer, hockey, and waiting for our jerseys. But then again, I hate my brothers.
Claude_Verret Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 That looks outstanding. Game on! Thanks. It helps to have a neighbor that builds homes and another that is an electrician. We put that thing up in no time for about half of what it should have cost. They aren't bad guys for Canes fans.
shrader Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 This may just be the most important question leading into this season. Has there still been no mention of whether or not Ennis and Gerbe will switch from their awful jersey numbers now that they made the opening roster?
That Aud Smell Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Well, thank you for caring. I hope we can be friends. We're brothers in beer, hockey, and waiting for our jerseys. But then again, I hate my brothers. oh, and the euphoria of opening night for our team is so powerful that it's prevented PA from squawking about the ruff ball-washing in today's BN. giddy-up.
nfreeman Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 A few items I'd like to see tonight: - chemistry on the TC-Vanek-Pommer line - Morrisson introducing himself emphatically to Neil. - Ennis playing like he belongs on the top 6 - Stafford continuing strong preseason play - Gaustad-McCormick-Kaleta doing some damage - The first Senator that jostles Miller paying a heavy price - Rivet looking rejuvenated - Sekera looking like he earned that #6 spot, not won it by default - Myers - Better execution on the PP Go Sabres.
Eleven Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Yes. A picture is in my profile. Unfortunately I don't enjoy the Bills games out there too often these days, the RedZone channel is usually on by halftime. That is awesome.
spndnchz Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Gerbe Butler Weber sitting. Like we all didn't see that coming. Separating Vanek and Roy huh? Downright spicy.
carpandean Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 This may just be the most important question leading into this season. Has there still been no mention of whether or not Ennis and Gerbe will switch from their awful jersey numbers now that they made the opening roster? With Mair gone, I'm full expecting a number change for Ennis:
