X. Benedict Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Way to blow a THREE GOAL LEAD Just another reason to hate Boston.
Dave Dryden Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 3-2 we need paille to score an insurance goal... been awhile since we have said that lol. Lets go Bruins! twitch. 7minutes left. Wow, an epic collapse by the Bruins.
LGR4GM Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 I am gonna call it what it was: EPIC FAIL!!! Boston wtf? Seriously you couldnt just close out a game you had to give up 3 goals in 3 minutes.... so glad i am not allowed to swear on this board because it would be an amazing string of anger and annoyance at the teams ahead of us for not helping in anyway. Well water under the bridge just means we have to win tomorrow. By Enroth's paddle we must smite the Lightning.
OverPowerYou Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 The Bruins haven't changed from last year's playoff collapse. I expect them to lose in the 1st round this year. When they lose, they lose BIG!
SabreInFla Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 So, after seeing that happen, I'm thinking we lose to Tampa and Carolina crushes Detroit. Pretty much a perfect Buffalo sports scenario.
wjag Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 That was absolutely a shocker.. Keeps the pressure on Buffalo. Carolina and Toronto have to be in agony tonight.
... Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 That was absolutely a shocker.. Keeps the pressure on Buffalo. Carolina and Toronto have to be in agony tonight. This puts the Leafs out if it, officially, right?
X. Benedict Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 If you don't think anyone can win the East - I think tonight is exhibit A.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 I wish we were playing Boston this year in round 1...
LGR4GM Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 This puts the Leafs out if it, officially, right? yes, unless they have a tiebreaker over us.
Derrico Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 If you don't think anyone can win the East - I think tonight is exhibit A. +100000000000000000000000000000000000
... Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 yes, unless they have a tiebreaker over us. If they win out and the Sabres lose out, it'd be 40-32-10 for each. I suppose I need to find SO wins.
... Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 So that's 5 and 1 for Buffalo, and 5 and 5 for Toronto. So, yes, the Leafs are officially out.
Dave Dryden Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 If they win out and the Sabres lose out, it'd be 40-32-10 for each. I suppose I need to find SO wins. Toronto could get to 35 ROWs and equal the Sabres. They were 3-3-0 head to head. Toronto is well behind in goal differential. Unless Toronto wins its next 3 games w/o a shootout and win about 40-0, they are now out I believe.
LGR4GM Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 If they win out and the Sabres lose out, it'd be 40-32-10 for each. I suppose I need to find SO wins. well we tied the series so there goes that tiebreaker and I wonder if we have more regulation/ot wins... i feel like we might. O well we will get at least a point anyways. Leafs are done like chicken at duffs
will Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 So, after seeing that happen, I'm thinking we lose to Tampa and Carolina crushes Detroit. Pretty much a perfect Buffalo sports scenario. gettin' started early this year, eh? don't break your ankles jumping off the bandwagon.

O well we will get at least a point anyways. Leafs are done like chicken at duffs Same number of wins (5), but less losses (1 Sabres, 5 Leafs).
Dave Dryden Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Same number of wins (5), but less losses (1 Sabres, 5 Leafs). Huh?
LGR4GM Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 TSN updated the standings http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/standings/ so it looks like we gotta beat tampa tomorrow and kill the hopes of the canes. Also remember we have played 1 less game than nyr so we could still over take them. 3 games to go and sadly we must refocus after that great win yesterday, Bruins suck and I hate them for this.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 gettin' started early this year, eh? don't break your ankles jumping off the bandwagon. :clapping:
X. Benedict Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 If they win out and the Sabres lose out, it'd be 40-32-10 for each. I suppose I need to find SO wins. Toronto would need to win the rest of their games without a shootout. Buffalo would need to lose out in regulation. Which would tie the teams in non-shootout wins. And Toronto would edge Buffalo in the season series by a point. I think..
thesportsbuff Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 How bout Buffalo wins tomorrow combined with a Carolina loss and we're in. Cool?
