LGR4GM Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 also watching Rangers-Bruins ... who the hell dresses Ron Duguay for his between-periods studio analysis? The dude is wearing a shiny brown blazer over a purple and green striped shirt with a collar that could be used as a hang-glider ... and he has the thing unbuttoned so his fury chest is showing ... along with the earring and Johnny Rzeznik haircut .... he's in his mid-50s and he looks like he is headed to a disco right after the game ... As gay or metrosexual as that whole rant is, IT FREAKING AWESOME AND TOTALLY TRUE! Wardrobe had a major fail there, but its fun to look at.

But he's married to Kim Alexis so I'm still jealous.

Have you ever seen the other guys on the show make fun of the little purse he carries around to hold all of his hair products? Now that is funny.

Wardrobe had a major fail there, but its fun to look at. This is funny since I am a 40-year old guy who wears jeans, some sort of shirt with the Sabres logo on it and a Sabres hat pretty much every day. I have no place telling people how to dress or what is "in" style. But I can totally see why it sounded like that ...
wjag Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 I wish Boston would start playing like they want to win this game...

Wearing jeans and sabres stuff is always fashionable right? Be nice if boston took a shot on goal here... seriously wtf
wjag Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Rangers - Bruins getting chippy. Lundqvist and Prospal both hit hard.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 This game looks like it might get messy. Lucic is in a bad mood, Lundqvist got plowed hard into the net, and BoyFhuk crushed Prospal along the boards. Should make for a good third period.

Why wasn't Lundqvist evaluated for a head injury? He CLEARLY looked liked he had a head injury.. Special treatment for goalies?

Special treatment for goalies? That is a very good point! I never thought of McQuaid as a dirty player before, but he made two dirty hits that period. One a knee-to-knee and the other a head shot into the glass.
LGR4GM Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 I just noticed Seguin is back for boston and am glad cuz he gives them offense, wonder what the bruins will do this offseason with savard, bergeron, krejci, and seguin as there centers... trade partner?

I don't know that Savard can be counted on ... certainly no one would trade for him ... if they deal one of the others and he can't go, suddenly they are thin.

Savard has a partial NTC and your right who would trade for him and Horton can play center and they have him so they could consider it, but it could conceivably leave them weaker down the center. Just wish those centers would score a bloody goal.
BuffaloFansR_Crazy Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Rangers win another close game. They have only scored 3 goals in their last 3 games, yet have somehow gotten 5 out of 6 points.
LGR4GM Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 F*$# YOU BOSTON FOR NOT SCORING A F#($8#@ GOAL.
wjag Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 If only Boston had played for 60 minutes today. Very impressive win by NY. Boston had a post 7-0 goal hangover from beating Montreal the other night.
Taro T Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 The Strangers have scored THREE goals total in their last 3 games and have picked up FIVE points. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :censored:

LGR4GM Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 so heres the question now, nyr are tied with canadiens so how big of a win is that 2-0 gerbe fueled victory earlier this week now? Either way we need again to win tonight... wish some of these ppl behind or in front would lose a couple.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 No point getting worked up over it, the Rangers blocked about 30 shots and earned it even if they did treat the 3rd as a 20-minute PK. Just have to keep winning.
Assquatch Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Montreal has been shut out in its last three games. The Devils have been shut out in their last two. Miller is responsible for one of each.
cdexchange Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Montreal has been shut out in its last three games. The Devils have been shut out in their last two. Miller is responsible for one of each. Love it!
bunomatic Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Montreal has been shut out in its last three games. The Devils have been shut out in their last two. OverPowerYou Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 A rangers-bruins matchup In the 1st round would be a great series and it's possible they'll play each other
Samson's Flow Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Pretty nice weekend there for both the sabres and for everyone else around us. Carolina, Rangers Toronto all losing makes me a happy Sabres fan :w00t: EDIT: Upon further review, the Rangers actually scored more goals than the Bruins last night...
