wjag Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 carolina and washington are tied 1-1 with 15min left in the 3rd Make that 2-1 WAS with 11 left and Isles get 3 goals in six minutes to lead Boston 3-2 early third.. If all today's and tomorrow's game go Sabres way, Buffalo will be a 93% lock for playoffs. Remember when they were 16%?
wjag Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 The Canes lost in DC.... Now how about a SJ win over NY? AND.... Boston lost a game in regulation after a second period lead for the first time this season.
deluca67 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 Kovi with a big goal to keep the Devils alive for a little longer.

I didn't mind Thomas letting me down last night :D but dammit, he is fracking up my goalie stats for this weeks matchup now.
wjag Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 Canes were robbed of at least a point tonight. They scored the game tying goal but it was waived off by a very quick whistle. Holtby looked liked he had the puck, the ref anticipated such and blew the whistle. But, the puck came free almost immediately and was swatted in to the goal. Refs immediately waived it off. Replays showed the whistle did blow. But if I'm a Canes fan, I'm pissed tonight.

I have him and Miller and last night was eh but tonight I cried a little. Anyways, glad the canes lost, 7th is def the position we should at least make so LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!!
biodork Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 The Bs lost to the Islanders tonight, LOL... karma is a b!tch.
thesportsbuff Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 I don't believe it either, but didn't his little sister also recently suffer a concussion? You can't blame their parents for being worried. Maybe the Crosby parents were actually trying to convince his sister to quit hockey for good -- common mistake since they both have vaginas.

I don't get the consistent dissing of Crosby by fans, especially SabreSpace fans. Here is a guy that plays all out on EVERY shift, every play. Yet crap like this persists. This guy is the complete hockey player, goal scorer, clutch, tenacious, etc and yet folks continue to dog him like he is a soft player.

Don't take it personally bro, I was just kidding around. Jeez. I don't see you sticking up for Connolly when people call him a pu$$y... lol

He still does some diva chit now and then, and if i ws starting a team today, I would take him over evry other player in the league

I don't see you sticking up for Connolly when people call him a pu$$y... lol Well in fact, I don't get that either. I can take folks not liking his play, but calling names is being a keyboard bully.

carpandean Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 if i was starting a team today, I would take him over every other player in the league Agreed. And that pretty much says everything you need to know.
Bmwolf21 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 The first 2 years of his career he was a total cry baby. Don't take it personally bro, I was just kidding around. Jeez. I don't see you sticking up for Connolly when people call him a pu$$y... lol Bingo. As Carp and plenz mentioned - I'd take him as my centerpiece player over pretty much every player in the league. But that doesn't mean I have to like his whining and crying. I wonder if he ever made any pearls out of all that sand in his ######. :w00t:
Weave Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 His first two years in the league he was 18 and 19 years old. Go ask the adults that were around you then how you acted at 18 and 19. Pretty sure most of us would get told we were whiny little ######. And we weren't even rich and famous and being called the savior of our profession. He may have been a whiny bitch then. He's not anymore IMO. The kid is all pro in my eyes.

I know a lot of fans who resent the fact that the NHL likes to pretend he is the only star in the league. Personally I think he is a great player, arguably the best in the game, but I hate him. Honestly, my dislike for him is based purely on jealousy, the fact that he plays for the pens and not my team, and that he scored the golden goal on Miller. He is kind of like Tom Brady, I know he is great, but as a Bills fan I hate him for always crushing my team.
LGR4GM Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 If Jersey(66pts) wins tonight and Atalanta(68pts) and Toronto(68pts, we better win) lose, The Devils will jump up to 10th place and that will put them only 6 pts out of the last spot with games in hand (2) on the rangers (74pts) who would also need to lose tonight... depending on how tonight goes, the Devils could be a legitimate playoff contender as if they won both games in hand than they would be just 2pts behind the rangers whom the play their second to last game against... just something to keep an eye on.

I could see the top seeds looking at the Devils as the one team they don't want to play in the first round.
LGR4GM Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 the islanders are already losing... interesting
OverPowerYou Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 I was just watching NYR vs. Sanjose and the Sharks' television went to commercials even though there was a fight breaking out right before it went to a commercial break. Anyone else see this?
