Lanny Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 BASICALLY YEAH THEY OPENED UP APPX 25. MILL IN CAP SPACE... For clarity that should be $2.5 million.
darksabre Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Caps lock is cruise control for cool!
carpandean Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 f**king three-point games
deluca67 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 f**king three-point games  Forget the Canes and Rangers. Look over your shoulder. The Devils are only four points behind the Sabres.
OverPowerYou Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 I just had a dream that the Devils won the Stanley Cup and that I won $20 million dollars. Scary to say the least
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 I just had a dream that the Devils won the Stanley Cup and that I won $20 million dollars. Scary to say the least  If you put down $20,000 on them in Vegas on January 15th.....then your dreams may come true.
carpandean Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Forget the Canes and Rangers. Look over your shoulder. The Devils are only four points behind the Sabres. Even if the Devil's pass everyone, we will still have to pass both Carolina and NY for the 8th spot. In fact, that three-point game is even worse if the Devils do keep climbing.
X. Benedict Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Even if the Devil's pass everyone, we will still have to pass both Carolina and NY for the 8th spot. In fact, that three-point game is even worse if the Devils do keep climbing. The Sabres chances are slim at this point, and nosedive with a loss tonight. 2 games in hand are their big cards. Â Devils and Leafs etc. would need Carolina to play less than .500 point percentage hockey here-out to catch them.
OverPowerYou Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 3 games in hand on Carolina, 5 points out, and we play them 3 times. Who's to think we can't make the playoffs? Last time I checked we still have a little more than 1/5 of th season left, not 3 games. Be patient
X. Benedict Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Orpik out 4-6 weeks in Pittsburgh. Â http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=355208 Â Wow. they've had lots of injuries.

thesportsbuff Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Kovalev to Pittsburgh for a 7th rounder  Link  Not that I would want Kovalev to be a Sabre but it's amazing how everyone in the Eastern playoff picture continues to improve... at least the serious contenders.
deluca67 Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 What a full night of hockey ahead of us.  Rangers/Caps Canes/Pens Panthers/Thrashers Devils/Lightning  All games of importance to the Sabres.
nucci Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 What a full night of hockey ahead of us.  Rangers/Caps Canes/Pens Panthers/Thrashers Devils/Lightning  All games of importance to the Sabres. The DirecTV remote will be busy tonight.
Lanny Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 [Fri] Marco Sturm (LA), Nick Boynton (CHI), Mike Commadore (re-entry, CBJ) on waivers, Bernier clears, Rivet on re-entry. Â
bleedblueandgold Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 McCabe to the Rangers for who? Tim Kennedy? who's that?
wonderbread Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Kovalev netting instant results w a goal in reg and the SO winner. Not for nothing but Shero is a Wiley cat if he pulls this off with the pens injuries.
Two or less Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Kovalev netting instant results w a goal in reg and the SO winner. Not for nothing but Shero is a Wiley cat if he pulls this off with the pens injuries. Â Shero looks like a genius, however, they're not going anywhere without Sidney and he still has headaches. He may not even return this season, and when he does, who knows if he'll ever be the same. Remember, Tim Connolly, used to be an iron man when it came to not getting injured, until he suffered a concussion, then he was like he was made out of glass.

Could you imagine the worst case scenario for the NHL and the Pens? Crosby has to end his career because after a concussion he can no longer play the game. That would be insane and a huge blow to the sport.
ParkMeadow Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Yeah, d4rksabre, I can think of a worse scenario for the league. Crosby's career is not ended, but he comes back and plays like Tim Connolly from this point forward!

Not for nothing but Shero is a Wiley cat if he pulls this off with the pens injuries. Â You mean there are coaches in the NHL who can coach offensive talent that's brought to his team?
carpandean Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 You mean there are coaches in the NHL who can coach offensive talent that's brought to his team? Steve Bernier had two goals, an assist, and jumped a guy going after Roy in his first game here. It happens a lot and has very little to do with the coach. It's about first impressions (even when returning to a former team.)

thesportsbuff Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 how bout this one? Bernier just sucked. Just like Zubrus. Just like Torres. Just like Moore.
