When it comes to ligaments, a sprain is a tear. 1st, 2nd or 3rd Degree. 3rd is complete tear, likely requiring surgical repair. 1st and 2nd are partial tears.tears

And man do they hurt. I did mine in soccer years ago and it took a long time to feel good. The problem is that you get to walking a certain way to protect it and when it's healed, your mind continues to protect it and you keep walking differently. I remember getting out of my elevator where I lived and I had to turn the corner to my apartment. I automatically straightened my leg when I turned the corner because of the tear. Months afterwards I would still do this, even though I was fine when I played again because I forgot about it when I was into the game. But the straight leg around the corner after the apartment lasted for close to a year.

Huge line fight as I speak in Beantown.

Nice donnybrook!

Cheap move by Ferrence but he beat that guys face in pretty good.

McQuaid's should get suspended.

Punk.

I like that Montreal scored at the end just to leave a little bitter taste in Boston's mouth.

I HATED that last goal. That 6th goal cost me a W for Thomas.

This Bruins team is big bad and deep and with the best goaltender in the league posting the best save percentage since Hasek I find it hard to believe people think we'd win a 7 game series against these guys.I guess we are allowed to dream.

Boy am I glad I started Krejci over Gomez. I better not lose him because of a fight (although I'm torn, it was kinda nice to see a Bruin's knees buckle).

Aren't we 3-1 against them so far this season?

We counter size with size (a lot to a little). We're just too small to hit.

EDIT: sorry, 3-2.

Call me crazy.....but I don't see Boston blowing anybody out in a seven game series.

Whether they do it in 5,6,or 7 games I believe it would be a battle of attrition and we'd be one hurtin bunch. I didn't say they'd blow anyone out. They'd just wittle away grounding and pounding till it was over.

Probably the wrong thread, but I don't know if you've noticed, but this Sabres team is no Montreal. Little by little they've gotten nastier and tougher. And if you are not a fighter, it doesn't matter if you are 6'0" or 5'5". I think we have just enough guys to at least keep Boston honest; Montreal has one.

Not necessarily talking about fighting. Not a lot of that happens in the playoffs. I'm talking about big bodies pounding it out against little bodies over a 7 game series. Injuries mount. Guys hear footsteps. The other team comes out of the corner with the puck. Little by little it'll wear you down. Just sayin.

Interesting, I didn't know that.

Just noticed that Drury is out yet again. I am so thankful he chose to leave the Sabres. The money tied up in him is atrocious. 4 points on the season. I wish we still had Briere but Drury leaving on his own wasn't a bad thing for the Sabres. Now hopefully we can reel in the Rangers and knock them out of the playoffs again.

At this rate the Devils and Sabres will be the 2 and 3 seeds going into the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Montoya lead the Islanders to the #4 seeds.

I get a feeling that OV is going to get knocked out for the season. It's just seems to be one of those years.
