X. Benedict Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 A 7th and a conditional (if signed) 5th? Sounds like a cheap deal for those rights. Edit: oops, actually is a 7th or a 5th, if signed. I dunno....for the right to negotiate for 24 hours. It seems like a lot to pay.
Bullwinkle Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 According to Spector, Wisniewski signed with the Blue Jackets. Too bad.

That Aud Smell Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 islanders beat reporter tweeted that "talks between Isles and Christian Ehrhoff break down." and that the Isles have sent an e-mail out to all league FO's to gauge interest in having an exclusive on the guy before 7/1. https://twitter.com/#!/KatieStrangNYI/status/86166043080405057 EDIT: can someone explain to me why it is that we can't have a beat reporter who looks like this?

Well she's from the Island, so I'd imagine her stock drops drastically as soon as she starts speaking.
That Aud Smell Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 I'd imagine her stock drops drastically as soon as she starts speaking. and so she differs from our beat reporters how? ;)
X. Benedict Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 and so she differs from our beat reporters how? ;) Even if John Vogl showed a similar amount of clev........oh, never mind. ;)
nobody Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Well she's from the Island, so I'd imagine her stock drops drastically as soon as she starts speaking. or starts laughing
Bullwinkle Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 EDIT: can someone explain to me why it is that we can't have a beat reporter who looks like this? You like to look at ugly women?
Bullwinkle Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 got a link? Spector tweeted it, but I'm not sure it's true.
shrader Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 You like to look at ugly women? She has a face?
LastPommerFan Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Well she's from the Island, so I'd imagine her stock drops drastically as soon as she starts speaking. They're allowed to speak on long island?
Bmwolf21 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Kariya calls it quits. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=370372 Disappointing. Suter really sent him down a bad concussion road with a cheap shot.
spndnchz Posted June 30, 2011 Author Report Posted June 30, 2011 The NHLPA initiated a grievance about the late filing of Predators RFA's. Happens every year eh?
Bullwinkle Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 She has a face? How can you not miss it? Everything else fades into the background. UGH!
Bullwinkle Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 The NHLPA initiated a grievance about the late filing of Predators RFA's. Happens every year eh? If they rule in favor of the NHLPA, Sergei Kostitsyn, Cal O'Reilly, Nick Spaling, and Matt Halischuk will be UFAs Friday. I'd definitely take a look at all four of those guys.
FogBat Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Kariya calls it quits. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=370372 So does Buffalo native Todd Marchant http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=370373 EDIT: X. beat me to it.
FogBat Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Belfour, Gilmour, Nieuwendyk, and Mark Howe elected to HOF. I'm not sure who to put in place of Belfour and Nieuwendyk, but I certainly don't want THOSE TWO in there. Must be nice to get there when they got their Cup rings by fraudulent means. <_<
Taro T Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I'm not sure who to put in place of Belfour and Nieuwendyk, but I certainly don't want THOSE TWO in there. Must be nice to get there when they got their Cup rings by fraudulent means. <_< Which ring of Nieuwendyk's are you complaining about? The one he got in '89 when he had 51 goals in the regular season and another 10 in the playoffs or the one he got in '03? (Yeah, I know which 1 you were actually complaining about. But Joe deserves to be in the HoF.)
Eleven Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Disappointing. Suter really sent him down a bad concussion road with a cheap shot. Yeah, but he's blaming Kaleta in part for his retirement: http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2011/06/news-from-all-over.html
shrader Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Yeah, but he's blaming Kaleta in part for his retirement: http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2011/06/news-from-all-over.html Maybe it's the sleeve colors distorting the view a bit, but that really doesn't look like an elbow to me... and I can't stand Kaleta so I'm not trying to defend him.
