spndnchz Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 :38 was better. word. home slice.
X. Benedict Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 The 'code' defined at :22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFPLLv3fGw0 Brilliant find. :clapping: If there was ever a chance for a guy to break someone's orbital, that was it.
shrader Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Brilliant find. :clapping: If there was ever a chance for a guy to break someone's orbital, that was it. This stuff always makes me think of when Peters broke McGratton's face. He stopped the second he landed that punch. It's funny how the same guy can give you a perfect example of the code with a moment like that and then give a perfect example of breaking the code with the golf swing against Toronto.
R_Dudley Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Not NHL but hockey and I thought with as much time as some of our guy's spend behind the net maybe we should practice this one. PD linky

PD linky I could be wrong, but I think I remember Gretzky doing it once when teams stopped chasing him behind the net.
korab rules Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Boy, that Kovalchuck signing is sure working out well for NJ!
bunomatic Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Boy, that Kovalchuck signing is sure working out well for NJ! As much as I hate Regier and his timid style as a G.M. I have to say I support him for not pulling bonehead moves like this signing.
shrader Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Boy, that Kovalchuck signing is sure working out well for NJ! That thing is going to take 3 or 4 years before it even potentially works out for that franchise. They're going to have to spend that much time trying to get the ship back in order money-wise. Who knows if it'll wind up being worth it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him roar back with 50 goals next year, and for them to miss the playoffs. The best story this year might be the Habs. How the hell are they winning? That isn't a stacked roster, they are just greater than the sum of their parts at the moment. And Price.
bunomatic Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 omg Is that Derek Roy or is it Will Farrell or is it Will Farrells love child? Has Roys face been pasted onto that Photo? I think I'm going to be sick.
korab rules Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Why? Just...why? Looks like the SGM's made it to third base!
darksabre Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Looks like the SGM's made it to third base! Does the..uh..receiving gentleman look like anyone on the team, or is that Roy's man-b*tch?
Stoner Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Come on, aren't you youngens supposed to be tech savy and cynical? Check out the next photo, of someone playing guitar. I say someone, because it's not Roy, that's for sure. Obviously Photoshopped. So someone as a hobby likes putting Derek Roy's head on someone else's body, to publicly embarrass Roy -- talk about sick. I'm sure Vogl is working his sources as we speak.
Eleven Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Does the..uh..receiving gentleman look like anyone on the team, or is that Roy's man-b*tch? Looks a litte bit like post-andro Peters.
korab rules Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Does the..uh..receiving gentleman look like anyone on the team, or is that Roy's man-b*tch? The term is "Mitch". If they are playing guitar hero in the second photo, the guy on the couch has to be stafford.

And whether or not these pictures are real, why does it really matter? Avery is on record stating that he's a big fan of purses. Does that somehow impact the type of hockey player he is?
spndnchz Posted December 12, 2010 Author Report Posted December 12, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNLCzqBPDL4 Looks like Spach broke his arm.
carpandean Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Looks like Spach broke his arm. That's one where you hope there's something else that happened beyond what we saw there, because it didn't look like Spacek did anything worth that response.

R_Dudley Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 omg :bag: And whether or not these pictures are real, why does it really matter? Avery is on record stating that he's a big fan of purses. Does that somehow impact the type of hockey player he is? Exactly what I was thinking. I would be curious how many hockey players there are that play on that team and whether there are elite players or not. I will say though if it is known in the locker room and I am not on that team, I wouldn't likely want to be caught in the showers with them and made to feel like I am being looked at.
shrader Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Look at one second in the hit he puts on Mac. Yeah, that was the hit. Still a bit strange though. Like they said, I have no clue how Mac doesn't get an instigator there.
