bob_sauve28 Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 I'm really impressed with Martin St. Louis. Great puck rusher, passer and forechecker
Eleven Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 be very afraid, we're playing Stamkos this weekend That's bad. But the Sabres will not be starting Philly's goalies, which is good. But the Sabres are coming off of a game against LA. That's bad. But LA used to have Frolov, but doesn't anymore. That's good. But the Frolov is cursed. That's bad. But the Frolov comes with your choice of toppings... (shrader, just finish this up for me, will ya?)

Sterling Archer Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Dammit, is your name shrader? Sometimes. Either way, someone has to pick up the slack.
SwampD Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Dammit, is your name shrader? Who is Dammit?.. and why are you calling him shrader?
spndnchz Posted November 19, 2010 Author Report Posted November 19, 2010 Who is Dammit?.. and why are you calling him shrader? Surely u jest?
shrader Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 The toppings contain potassium benzoate. That's bad. Can I go now?
spndnchz Posted November 19, 2010 Author Report Posted November 19, 2010 I guess this is what it takes to get more than the usual to games. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkwSPU2zQ58 Jokinen gets three.
carpandean Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Surely u jest? He is serious ... and don't call him Shirley.
nobody Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 He is serious ... and don't call him Shirley. I thought he was dammit.
Weave Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 I thought he was dammit. No. His brother is dammit. His name is Jesus Christ.
carpandean Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 No. His brother is dammit. His name is Jesus Christ. But Mom, my name's Jesus Christ!
Weave Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 But Mom, my name's Jesus Christ! I hoped someone would get the reference.
Two or less Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 The NJ Devils have announced that Pat Burns has passed away - per TSN. R.I.P.
Weave Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 The NJ Devils have announced that Pat Burns has passed away - per TSN. R.I.P. Wow. I didn't realize he was still sick. Godspeed Coach.
shrader Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 The NJ Devils have announced that Pat Burns has passed away - per TSN. R.I.P. Is it bad that my initial though is "are they sure?"?
nobody Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 7-6 Philly half way through thegame Interesting note I read in the article about the TB-Philly game. The NHL record for goals in a period is 12, set in the second period by the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs on March 19, 1981. The Sabres had nine of the 12 goals.

If you have one of the Rick Jeanneret highlight DVDs, you can hear him exclaim, "And it's four-teeeen to foooooo-rrrr!" He sounded like his voice finally decided to change.
shrader Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 And looking at the boxscore, Kennedy got an unsportsmanlike call added on there. I wonder if they gave him an embellishment call there. I can't find any good recaps that even mention that incident.
Eleven Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Tim Kennedy gets served. And then Smith was served back. Then, it was on. (And the announcer even said so.)
X. Benedict Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 And then Smith was served back. Then, it was on. (And the announcer even said so.) That's something you don't see everyday. That's still a hit from behind, but D. Smith did nothing to protect. on the other hand..... I've never seen a Goalie do that on the delay.

I've never seen a Goalie do that on the delay. Not on a delay, but there was a clip in the in-arena Bruins pre-game video for a couple years of Tim Thomas going after Pominville of all people behind the net. It was that typical goalie move, both hands high up to the face exactly like this one.
Two or less Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Those with center ice may have seen this, this past Saturday night right before the late HNIC game... LOL!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjYCL4GzR_M&feature=player_embedded It's funny to me how Scott Oake freaks, like everyone else would, but Kevin Weekes is as calm as they get. Doesn't even lose his train of thought. lol
