willismcthrillis Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 warriner (sp?)...i dreamt we signed him back to a deal last night, i hope this isnt just wishful thinking (literally), but hey, deja vu happens all the time, right?
stanleyisours Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 I don't find it pointless. Rhett was my favorite Sabre for the short time that he was with us. I wish we had him back. Every hockey video game I play, I always trade for Warrener so he can come back home :D
ricogarion Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 If only the Sabres were run as well in real life as they are when we play video games,we would have experienced Cup Crazy many times over allready!
willismcthrillis Posted August 19, 2005 Author Report Posted August 19, 2005 isnt that the truth... :)
Guest Spinner Spencer Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Yeah...I remember in old Sega hockey when my best player was Colin Patterson. Rhett would love to come back to Bufalo I'm sure because he is still active in the community. I would be happy with any addition of a top 4 defenseman though.
Rabbit151 Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Rhett Warrener. Good Saskatchewan boy. That's where I'm from too. Sadly, so is Regier. Back when the Sabres went to game 6 of the cup finals, they had a ton of western canadians. Off the top of my head, Dixon Ward- Alberta, Stu barnes-BC, warrener-Sask, Curtis Brown-Sask, Sanderson-hmm, NWT?, Lindy ruff-AB, I think there were more, that's all I can think of now though. Did you know the highest per capita rate of NHLers comes from Saskatchewan. it's true. We've been talking about Wade Redden, another Sask-guy. The current Sabres roster features , umm, no Western Canadians. Does it? The WHL is probably the best supplier of talent to the NHL, and yet there are no Sabres from there. Shame on You Regier, and Ruff- this is where you are from. Get with the program.
