wildcat48 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Sabres still filling Pirates roster with training camp soon to open Published on: 28th September, 2010 by Chris Roy The Portland Pirates are preparing to open training camp this week, the last team in the American Hockey League to do so, and there is still a number of questions that remain with the roster, or lack thereof. The Pirates will have some talented players this season with the likes of rookies Luke Adam and Corey Tropp, but on paper, the Pirates roster as constructed still has a numerous number of holes, making one question if they can even compete for a playoff spot. inkman Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Given the fact Mancari, Ellis, and Gerbe are likely to be sent down and as you mentioned, Parrish a likely candidate for Portland, I'd say the roster is shaping up quite nicely.
shrader Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I love the "we've had talks about having talks" quote. Too funny.
