inkman Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Shawn Merriman, former pro bowl linebacker for San Diego. Career went straight down hill after he was busted for performance enhancing drugs. He has been mostly injured/ineffective when not injured since his suspension. Yeah, I haven't seen a players career plummet after stopping the rood use since Tony Mandarich.

Career went straight down hill after he was busted for performance enhancing drugs. He has been mostly injured/ineffective when not injured since his suspension. I am surprised they are pursuing him. Goes to show just how bad our linebacker situation is. No, he made the pro bowl the year after he was busted. It's the knee injury that did him in, not the steroid bust (which was in 2006).

deluca67 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 How are the potentially 0-16 Buffalo Bills more interesting that the 100 point division winning Buffalo Sabres?
shrader Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 How are the potentially 0-16 Buffalo Bills more interesting that the 100 point division winning Buffalo Sabres? I just don't see it. They're both on the same exact level, not worth watching. But if we're mentioning last year's result for the Sabres, shouldn't we also be using last year's Bills in that statement?
spndnchz Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I don't blog the Bills, but this was just too much numbers to resist not posting http://www.wgr550.co...d-to--1/8544495 So if it rains in PA but not in Kalamazoo on Nov 21st, they've got the first pick?
korab rules Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Merriman is hurt already. Somebody please get the man some HGH.
Sterling Archer Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 BOTH BUFFALO TEAMS WIN AT HOME IN 2 DAYS!
nobody Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 BOTH BUFFALO TEAMS WIN AT HOME IN 2 DAYS! Is that one of the signs of the apocalypse?
SabresneedaCup Posted November 17, 2010 Author Report Posted November 17, 2010 I just don't see it. They're both on the same exact level, not worth watching. But if we're mentioning last year's result for the Sabres, shouldn't we also be using last year's Bills in that statement? HA dude if you think the bills arent worth watching this year, then you definately have a problem. this years bills are easily the most exciting team we have had in years.
nobody Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 HA dude if you think the bills arent worth watching this year, then you definately have a problem. this years bills are easily the most exciting team we have had in years. Scary fact there.
darksabre Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Scary fact there. I haven't been watching them this year, but I've been listening. I wanted to get that old school feel from my Bills experience, and I have to say I agree that this is the most interesting they've been in a long time. And I pretty much hate them for ruining my childhood, so that says a lot.
Sterling Archer Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I'm actually paying attention to them and getting excited and I started to give up 5 years ago.
shrader Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 HA dude if you think the bills arent worth watching this year, then you definately have a problem. this years bills are easily the most exciting team we have had in years. That's like being the tallest midget.

Really? So you found a 14-12 game against an oh-for-ever road team where they scored a scintillating 14 points exciting? I'm sorry folks, this years copy of the Bills is as bad as any other years. In fact probably more frustrating in that they find new and unique ways to not compete or give football games away. That's not entertaining, that's sad. And that is status normal. The truth about the Bills is that there isn't a single player on the team worth putting the franchise tag on. Not one.

I hate to say it, but I found the Lions game somewhat entertaining, and the three preceding losses, I found to be very entertaining. Am I happy with the outcomes and record? No. But the team is throwing the ball and is in the games lately, and that's entertainment. It's a hell of a lot better than what I saw last year. But I also was even more entertained during the first six weeks two years ago. Remember then? They were going to the Super Bowl or something, right?
JJFIVEOH Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Haha, not sure about the Super Bowl. But I do remember everybody talking about home field in the playoffs after they started 5-0. I also remember that same week in Jason Whitlock's weekly editorial he predicted at 5-0 that the Bills wouldn't even make the playoffs. :wallbash: On that note, this is the most exciting team we've had in years. People are nuts if they expect Gailey to turn this into a playoff team overnight. Sure beats the lifeless monotony we called Jauron football.

SabresneedaCup Posted November 21, 2010 Author Report Posted November 21, 2010 That's like being the tallest midget. stop being a band wagon fan. this team is awesome this year i dont care what the win loss column says.
