Dineen returns to the Pirates

Kevin Dineen will be returning to the Portland Pirates for a sixth season as head coach and Eric Weinrich will be back for his third season behind the bench as the team made the announcement this afternoon.

I like this move keeping him in the organ-eyezation. I would like it much better if they gave him a chance/brought him up to the big club to get some NHL coaching, maybe let him coach the PP couldn't make it much worse, who knows maybe we could start grooming Ruff's replacement. :rolleyes:

It was a mix of relief, excitement and the reality that Kevin Dineen can now focus on the future of the Portland Pirates.
