Taro T Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=329691 Shouldn't we have a "yawn" smiley by now?
Sabretooth Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Good luck to Afinogenov in the KHL. He could have done more in the NHL.
Corp000085 Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Good luck to Afinogenov in the KHL. He could have done more in the NHL. I agree. Always seemed to be a likable guy, but he basically topped off after his concussion "incident" back in the dark ages. A case of way too much potential for his own good. With that said, one cannot discredit his place in sabres history: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPJkEHDG9EA
SabresneedaCup Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 who cares, he was my least my favorite sabre.
inkman Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Always seemed to be a likable guy... Meh, seemed aloof, selfish and not very smart hockey wise.
SabresneedaCup Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Meh, seemed aloof, selfish and not very smart hockey wise. i really couldnt stand when he would take a terrible penalty, and then throw his arms up like he didnt do anything, just get in the box you idiot.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Max was very hard to watch almost 90% of the time, but the other 10% was magical. So many skills but could never put it together and he must have driven every coach that he ever had crazy.
SDS Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Shouldn't we have a "yawn" smiley by now? ask and ye shall receive... :clapping:
inkman Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 ask and ye shall receive... :clapping: Vey nice although he looks like he's waiting for something to get jammed in his pie hole. Maybe I'm jaded...
SDS Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Max was very hard to watch almost 90% of the time, but the other 10% was magical. So many skills but could never put it together and he must have driven every coach that he ever had crazy. Nah. He made it to the NHL and had a long career - I'm sure he did well against lesser players....
Stoner Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Vey nice although he looks like he's waiting for something to get jammed in his pie hole. Maybe I'm jaded... You took the words right out of... uh, never mind.
jpgr909 Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 A shame Max had such a hard time clearing airport security on his way back to Russia. He refused to submit to the mandatory bag check. He thought they said "backcheck." (I apologize in advance.)
bunomatic Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Max was good when he clearly could have been great with a little more effort, I'm sure there'll be those that forgive Max and blame Ruff.
Taro T Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 ask and ye shall receive... :clapping:  Vey nice although he looks like he's waiting for something to get jammed in his pie hole. Maybe I'm jaded... :o You took the words right out of... uh, never mind.
FogBat Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Vey nice although he looks like he's waiting for something to get jammed in his pie hole. Maybe I'm jaded... I don't know where you got your sense of humor, but I want it!
shrader Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 I don't know where you got your sense of humor, but I want it! I'm thinking he and Dwight Drane have the same uncle.
Stoner Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 A shame Max had such a hard time clearing airport security on his way back to Russia. He refused to submit to the mandatory bag check. He thought they said "backcheck." (I apologize in advance.) When you're bad, you're good.
FogBat Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 You took the words right out of... uh, never mind. It's that old age catching up to you.
Stoner Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 It's that old age catching up to you. Your new handle should be Ice Road Trucker. Ever watch that show?
FogBat Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Your new handle should be Ice Road Trucker. Ever watch that show? If I ever spent a winter on the Dalton Highway up in Alaska, I might consider it. It would obviously be more fitting for Hugh Rowland or Alex Debogorski, but not me. Yes, I have definitely seen that show. I don't know of too many truckers who haven't.
cdexchange Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 I'm thinking he and Dwight Drane have the same uncle.
