Sterling Archer Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I forgot the tongue in cheek emoticon! Just giving people a place to crack jokes other than the free agent frenzy thread. Wouldn't that look like the faux bj emoticon?
spndnchz Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Wouldn't that look like the faux bj emoticon? You do realize ur quoting a post from last century?
Sterling Archer Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Moving Taco Tuesday to Monday might not have been a great idea.
korab rules Posted February 27, 2012 Author Report Posted February 27, 2012 Wouldn't that look like the faux bj emoticon? He's just catching up on his reading - only 14 months behind. You are missing the most important part of his post - we have a faux BJ emoticon???
Sterling Archer Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 You do realize ur quoting a post from last century? Nope. Didn't care either.
kishoph Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 He's down at the DMV, left his phone at home, but he's hoping to get out of there by 3:30 pm, so he can put together a trade.
Jsixspd Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 We're down to under 45 minutes. Shouldn't something happen soon? Haven't gotten any text alerts from WGR55 so far, other than Gaustad and Roy were skating today in practice.
TrueBlueGED Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I don't think anybody has mentioned that he's probably trying to 3-star all of the levels in Angry Birds. Disabled phone calls to play uninterrupted.

Haven't gotten any text alerts from WGR55 so far, other than Gaustad and Roy were skating today in practice. yeah, you would think he would have already done something. But it is evident by his track record that he is going to do something along the lines of 1 last second insignificant deal like the Torres, Boyes, Heinze, Zubrus, or whoever deal. I just don't understand why he is soooooooo passive.
Bmwolf21 Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I don't think anybody has mentioned that he's probably trying to 3-star all of the levels in Angry Birds. Disabled phone calls to play uninterrupted. That was funny. Nicely done.
G-Daddy Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 He's playing with the new Sabre app he just downloaded to his phone and is shocked to see that we're not in playoff contention.
nobody Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I'm guessing that Darcy will say that the market changed today - what some teams were getting last week dried up today so he couldn't get the value in return that he expected so he couldn't make any trades.

Hello? The Yankees ate something like $18 million just to get rid of AJ Burnett. Teams that want to win don't always wait until the ledger sheet is on the positive side before making a move. This is a hockey team trying (I thought) to win a Stanley Cup for the first time ever, not some small business on an austerity budget.
Sterling Archer Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Darcy is currently looking rehearsing his "The market was set much higher that we expected" speech.

I hope you're not suggesting that they should eat money on a bad contract right now. That's not allowed in the CBA.
jjn226 Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I have no idea what Darcy is doing but, hopefully at 3:01pm he is cleaning out his desk!!!!
krt88 Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 It's 2:58 on deadline day and the answers appears to be NOTHING, Darcy is doing NOTHING I guess standing pat is what it's all about because we really should have found a way to be big time sellers today!
korab rules Posted February 27, 2012 Author Report Posted February 27, 2012 Unpacking his box and perusing the list of draft eligible defensemen.
wonderbread Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Trading goose? hahahaha. Nice call.
LabattBlue Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I bet he is beaming right now. "See Terry...I told you I am the man for the job!".
Weave Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Right now he's on the Thruway hotline. "Get Paul Scezz.... Szezz..... SHezzz... how ever you pronounce his name out here immediately!" BTW- Did anyone notice that Darcy missed a chance to send Kassian down on paper to make him eligible for AHL playoffs? Must be multi-tasking isn't his thing.
