Well, I sure hope so. That guy is a tank. If Darcy actually pulls this off, then I'm satisfied with the offseason already. I'd love a big name center to come in, but through no fault of the FO, I don't see that happening this year.

Then whos fault would it be? The job of the front office is to always try and improve the team by drafting players, signing FA's and making trades. There are always moves to be made to improve the team if your willing to give up stuff to do it.

He's 33.

Sabres don't sign 30+ players.

I wouldn't mind having him for a couple seasons though.

6'4 250. 40 point per year dman. Takes alot of shots.

Quick pointer, there is no legitimate site for NHL rumors (or really, any other sport). This game has gotten to a place now where if TSN doesn't pick up on a story, it's not worth mentioning.

In my mind this implies he's physical. From what I can recall he plays like a bigger version of tallinder except better offensively and worse defensively.

Is that why hockeybuzz got ahold of our signing before anyone else?

They go back and edit things after they happen. They've been caught doing that in the past. That site is the biggest joke out there.

Man those are long talks

Sabres, Lightning. Easy mistake to mix up the two.

But don't you see? He said the Sabres were talking to him, not that they were going to sign him. His perfect record remains intact!

I think I can clear this up. He was talking to Sabre Corp. headquarters -- in Florida, no less -- about taking over the Scranton branch after Michael leaves at the end of next season.
