shrader Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 That's a nice backup signing, grabbing a starter from last year. That move made absolutely no sense to me, but now I see that Josh Harding blew out his knee in the preseason and is out for the year.
spndnchz Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Posted October 4, 2010 per TSN: Ruslan Fedotenko has been rewarded for his strong pre-season as he has signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the New York Rangers. Is the end of the Free Agent Frenzy?

Is the end of the Free Agent Frenzy? I don't know, but it could very well be the end of Tim Kennedy.
thesportsbuff Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I don't know, but it could very well be the end of Tim Kennedy. This was a good call. Tim Kennedy has been placed on waivers... lol
spndnchz Posted October 5, 2010 Author Report Posted October 5, 2010 Shane O'Brien and Gendur to Nashville for Ryan Parent and Jonas Anderson. per sportsnet.
shrader Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Nashville must really love Parent. They traded him away to Philly, then eventually brought him back last year. Now they shipped him out again. He's like their version of Chris Gratton and Tampa Bay.

spndnchz Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 Canucks trade Hordichuk for Andrew Peters. Clearly a cap move. lol
shrader Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Canucks trade Hordichuk for Andrew Peters. Clearly a cap move. lol I didn't even realize anyone had signed Peters. Things are going to be very interesting for Vancouver's farm team with all the guys they'll be getting out of these cap cutting deals.

And with the Devils in cap trouble, they are carrying 11 forwards, with Adam Mair in limbo.
