JJFIVEOH Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I honestly don't see what was wrong with Patty. He had one bad game, if you take away the Ducks game he finished the season with a .914 save % which actually puts him right there with Hedberb, Thomas and Luongo. Pretty good deal for $1 million a year. It's not his fault the team can't score when he's in net. For a guy who plays once every 2-3 weeks I think that's pretty impressive. He had a .932 save % in a 3 game losing streak when Miller was out the year before, if the team scored more than 3 goals total in those 3 games they would have made the playoffs.

He also had severe hip problems late in 2008-09.
bunomatic Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 They had better find a capable backup with 22 back to back games this year. How many of those are against rested teams as opposed to teams also on the second of back to backs? Maybe Miller can handle the workload.
