tom webster Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Headline on sabres.com right now. That just about sums it up! If you are of the opinion that only Champions should go into any hall of fame, then I guess the point you are trying ot make is valid. Of course, limiting induction to greats who won a championship would limit every hall and wall. Otherwise, Ruff's record relative to others certainly deserves the respect that comes with induction.

Oh, I certainly and wholeheartedly agree with his induction into any BS Hall of Fame. He is indeed a champion of that. Seriously, don't you think getting inducted at his age, before he even retires, let alone wins a Cup, is a bit over the top?
Stoner Posted June 13, 2010 Author Report Posted June 13, 2010 Always with the negative waves Moriarty, always with the negative waves... You're not exactly sunshine and puppy dogs.

No. I don't get worked up about local, privately run organizations and what they deem worthy of induction into their clubs. I do think generally speaking that most Hall of Fame entities have lowered the standard of what truly is a Hall of Famer.

Maybe the release of the new jersey has been delayed and this is the best distraction Quinn could come up with.
