Kaberle is not coming to Buffalo, Kennedy would have been a part of that deal. I'll make my first prediction on this site and say that Tyler Myers leads defencemen in goals scored this year we wont need Kaberle

I don't care what the other fans on other boards are using as sources when that only source is Eck. I'm thisclose to putting you on ignore so that I don't have to read anymore from an Eck wannabe. At least BamBam just copy-pasted it so we could just skip reading his posts and go straight to ribbing him for it.

 

Drop the Kaberle BS, it's not happening.

Well, save your "ignore" (I believe thats what you call it) button practices.

Actually you should just put everyone that wants to ignore you on your ignore list - then you wouldn't have to listen to all the complaining. :)

Two points of contention:

1. What would lead you to believe Kennedy was a neccessary part of the Kaberle deal? I don't understand the love affair with Kennedy. He is an undersized career 3rd line center to me.

2. Kaberle's value has nothing to do with actual goal scoring from the blue line. Kaberle's true value is measured as a left handed power play quarterback. Myers scoring 15 goals this year has less value than a true PP D-man that could vault the Sabres PP unit into the top 15.

Why, do you have some repressed memories revolving around off season hockey moves based on speculation?

Is there something deeper here, perhaps some kind of crazy closet Leafs Fan persona that you dare not let the rest of the group see in fear of being labelled d4rkLaff?

Or maybe its something completely in a different direction, maybe personal interaction at a "meet the players" event where you were introduced to Moore or Torres?

So, in short, you've never said you'd like to see player X on the Sabres and looked at the possibilities that would achieve this?

 

Going to the games is a hoot, I have a great time following our team and speculating. I wouldn't be a season ticket holder if I didn't feel this way. There is nothing wrong with pondering the subject. But, its merely opinion, you have yours, I have mine.

Are you a masochist who likes to be let down when all that work you've done turns out to have been in vain?

I am of the same opinion of the front office as yourself.

 

I don't get let down if a potential off season move isn't made. I rant for a few minutes then look at the next possibility and speculate on it.

But, with the right gal, being a masochist can be fun ;)

But, d4rk, then why bother coming here at all, especially during the offseason? Is the only point of being here or being a fan, in general, to simply reactively discuss what the team has actually done?

 

"Great game, played well, see you Friday."

"Terrible pickup, paid too much, see you in a month if/when they sign someone else."

 

Nothing anyone here does affects anything about the team, on or off the ice. Sports is all about senselessly following, cheering for and supporting an organization that you have absolutely no control over. If we were all purely logical about it, none of us would be here.
