I think it shows what a good idea it was by Mario to have Crosby stay with him eh?

Sadly the Sabres don't have anyone I would want Kassian to stay with. If he stayed with Miller and Gaustad? Kassian would end up singing folk songs, playing acoustic guitar and discussing the merits of artisan breads. Isn't there a local UFC fighter he could stay with?

Maybe if they re-sign Adam Mair ...

Sorry haven't had time to catch up on the 3 pages on this thread right now, but I've gotta say that I think Kassian's aggressiveness could work in our favour. This is part of what we've been lacking and if his got the size to handle it I wouldn't to change that any time soon. He'll mellow as he gets older anyway, make the most of it now. IMHO, anyway.

Low Blow.

Yep. I would have gone with, "If they want Kassian to learn how to get the absolute most out of his very limited talent, maybe..."

Good to see that the state-run newspaper covering the Sabres got the OK from LQ to run the story today. It took this long for LQ to decide what to say about it?

The sabres should re-hire Barnaby and May and room Kassian with the three amigos,Ray, may and bam bam.I'd like to see that fight oover the remote control.

For some strange reason this reminds me of the one game where Ray came back to the bench after a fight with his finger broken or dislocated off in a crazy angle. The look of disgust on May's face was hilarious.

So now he may have jeopardized his NHL career because of the assault charge on his record, he may not be allowed in the country?

That's a complete non-issue. All he needs to do is go through the standard visa process that he would have had to do anyway to play in the US.

Maybe I'm a little desensitized to fighting, and I'm definitely assuming Kassian wasn't the instigator/escalator the night in question, but I think Pronger stealing the game puck after Games 1 and 2 says a lot more about character than a bar fight. Is it still possible to revoke Pronger's visa? :D

Interesting you bring up Pronger, who at his age 19, got arrested for a fight at Jim Kelly's bar.

Time for more pure speculation. Unlike most of this board from the way people make it sound, I have no idea about the usual repercussions of a bar fight, but would he be facing charges if he wasn't the instigator/escalator?

Yes because circumstantial evidence was not in his favor. e.g. other guy was sitting down holding his face bleeding from the mouth while Kassian was fine.

Thats why techincally it's an appearance ticket for pending charges while the police investigate and look for witness to collabrate the story. If he was not the instigator/agressor as a lot have assumed he could still walk away from this uncharged except by the court and and jury that have already done that here.
