    • 4: Would like to keep; would trade only for a great return (if under contract) or would pay a premium to re-sign (if FA).

    • 3: Don't care if he stays or goes; would make a fair trade (if under contract) or pay somewhat above current salary to re-sign (if FA).

    • 2: Don't want him on the team, really; would trade for a somewhat lesser return (if under contract) or sign at current or lower salary (if FA).

My first reaction when seeing this thread was "Lalime wore #40?". I think that says it all. Whoever it is, they'll wind up with someone making the same exact money and playing the same number of games. Come this time next year, we'll be complaining about how that guy played as well.

You could make a potion that would make many of them grow a pair.

Watching three of the four Conference finalist ride their backup goaltenders to where they are makes me realize even more how useless Lalime is as a backup goalie.

While I'm at it, maybe I can come up with something to make Gerbe and Ennis grow a few inches... oh wait, there's already a pill for that. :doh:
