  1. 1. How I feel about this player:

    • 5: Must keep under any circumstances.
      0
    • 4: Would like to keep; would trade only for a great return (if under contract) or would pay a premium to re-sign (if FA).
      23
    • 3: Don't care if he stays or goes; would make a fair trade (if under contract) or pay somewhat above current salary to re-sign (if FA).

    • 2: Don't want him on the team, really; would trade for a somewhat lesser return (if under contract) or sign at current or lower salary (if FA).

    • 1: Get this guy off of the team, no matter what it takes.

I need to get fired up. Can the player of the day for tomorrow be either Rivet, Stafford, Connolly, Roy, Gaustad or Mair? :)

Only if we skip over McCormick. Then it's Roy.

4. If the Sabres are serious about becoming a contender, he's the type of player they need. Strong playoff performer. Physical edge that most people underrate.

Co-sign.

If we could lock him in at around for a 3 year, 9 million dollar deal, that would be ideal.

Have you seen his backhand?

I play hockey and practice that shot but its tough and would never try it in a game because I know I'd flub it and the puck would go exactly two feet in front of the net with an opposition player waiting for it!

I believe Toni's play was pretty solid in 2009 / 10. I do not see anyone close in ability to replace him from the minors. The only way to replace him would be with a veteran. All of our defencemen struggled at times this season due to the lack of our forwards physical play.

And the 'SYSTEM' that has the wingers so low that there's nobody to pass to when they're trapped.

I do that all the time. The key is to have the puck further back in your stance. Too far forward and it's a sure flub. I flub about 2 out of 10.

Not only are they too low, but there are too far off the boards.

get rid of him at all costs. when you only got $45 mil to spend,he is not worth the $3 mil he makes. at his best he is only a 5th or 6th defenseman. at his worst, he is horrible.
