It's awesome and all, but I think we've finally hit the point where playoff beards have become cliche. Every little kid in the arenas is wearing fake beards. What a sham.

Its a silly superstition but its fun and its a way to feel involved with your favorite team.Mines real sparse and grubby looking and ...well bad and when people comment on it the first thing they ask is "playoff beard?"

I'm lovin' my playoff beard right now. Works real nice with the length of my hair at the moment.

i shaved off the beard the day after the game 4 loss... Partially cause i was super pissed at the Sabres, and partially because I'm a teacher and I don't want to look too grizzly. There's nothing wrong with a full beard in education, but the half beard-half stubble thing is a little lame. Then I shaved on Friday, so now I'll shave on Monday and hope for the same gameday result.

 

As for the mustache, I love it... Every summer I stop shaving for about a month and a half. During the end of July heat here, I shave it all off, except for the goatee, mustache, burns, etc.. I always keep something for a day or two. I love the mustache. Maybe this year I'll keep it permanently. I've never met a pu##y with a mustache (no pun intended). That should say something for the guy with the 'stache.
