Ohiofan Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 The boarding call on Kaleta was borderline, I think, but what's so insulting about it is that it comes on the heels of an absolutely horrid 'interference' call that had just yielded a goal. And to let the trip on Ennis go later on...just inexcusable. I was in the car listening to the Boston announcers on XM and even they admitted the call against McCormick was very bad. They couldn't believe it.
Chief Enabler Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Sabres wine is made by Bully Hill. Pretty sure they're on the Buffalo boards. Maybe even in the same place. Jeremy Jacobs favorite wine?
Chief Enabler Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Chara gets away with a blatant hold. +1
mrjsbu96 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 no matter how this game ends, what an exciting OT...this is why I love the NHL...i'm also pretty happy with the way the boys have played tonight...doens't mean I excuse how they are still not built for the long haul in the Cup FInals, but they have showed some true heart tonight..
Eleven Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Sabres look like a horde of Mongols during the OT so far. Hope they don't run out of gas while trying to put one in. But the effort is there.
Ohiofan Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 holy CRAP!!!!!!! Versus just locked up and switched for about 5 seconds to the next game but they came back. Holy crap.
notwoz Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Arghh.. So many chances////\\\\ and no one who can finish. That's the frustrating part
will Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 this is the best period of hockey i've seen them play so far in the playoffs. montador is head and shoulders the best player on the ice tonight. miller has been amazing in the OT so far. KEEP IT GOING!
rickshaw Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 We lose this series, look no further than our donut on the powerplay. come on boys!
Eleven Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 That was a great overtime effort. Again, I hope the Sabs aren't out of gas. But wow, nearly to a man, they were all over that puck. (Stafford, look at what the rest of the team is doing and try to copy it, ok?)
Chief Enabler Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Welcome to Dick Jauron hockey! play not to lose
theend Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I'm not sure I can take another OT, crouched over my laptop at work...
DR HOLLIDAY Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Welcome to Dick Jauron hockey! play not to lose  I thought the OT has been pretty wide open????
ThePebble19 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Welcome to Dick Jauron hockey! play not to lose  It's hard to win a game in the NHL.
matter2003 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Rask>Miller again in crunch time. What the ###### was Miller doing behind the net without a stick, pinning the Bruin to the boards?! Not mentally strong there. Miller came up huuuuuuuuuge in OT with at least 3 brilliant saves...shorthanded breakaway and 2 unbelievable down and out saves in front of the net...
will Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 are you kidding!? they were playing out of their minds to end this game with a win.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I'm not sure I can take another OT, crouched over my laptop at work... Same here, my stomach is starting to hurt, I better grab another beer.....
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 well Miller saved us from a 3 - 1 deficit. Montador has amazed me tonight
biodork Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I'm not sure I can take another OT, crouched over my laptop at work... I'm so there -- at home, but crouched over the laptop on my couch (no Versus). I think it's even harder to listen to OT than watch it... I'm on pins and needles listening to RJ.
Crestwood Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Same here, my stomach is starting to hurt, I better grab another beer..... My thoughts exactly. We went what, 12 minutes without a whistle there? Seemed like it, at least. My feelings on this game are contingent on the outcome, but we just watched 20 brilliant minutes of two-way hockey.
K-9 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 So who's it gonna be? I say Ennis. GO SABRES!!!
Ohiofan Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 this is nuts...really starting to affect me physically. I'm chewing my fingers off, yelling at the kids, and my stress-induced headache is not responding to motrin.
