I like McCormick, he seems to be just playing as if he's in the AHL still, vice the NHL playoff, "no big deal."

If he keeps this up, the board will be all  a-gush  over him tomorrow...

where was this team in the last two...ya gotta like mcormick so far...torres is alo stepped it up on the boards in the first two periods..

Yep, Miller kept the second period from getting out of hand - again. We have to buckle down better in the third. I know we will take that defensive posture, but we simply can't let Boston dictate play like the they did at the end there.

40 minutes down...20 to go...up by 2.

YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!!!

Eh, it was a picture of the alamo, just can't get it to show up. :(

I had a feeling that's what it was when I saw alamo.jpg at the end.

Having said that, they need to hold the lead. They can't let the Bruins back into the game whatsoever, or else they don't deserve to win the series.

Montador is playing awesome. This is a game Miller is stealing for us. Myers has a nasty streak now, and I like it. And I have no problems with this McCormick kid so far. He got hammered on one hit, and he could have made an immature and selfish play and retaliated, but instead just skated it off.

I have to wonder if the Sabres are resting on the laurels that came with the wardrobe from the Emperor's New Clothes.

What does that mean, exactly?

Can someone who knows the tactical nuances of the game tell me why the Bs are so difficult to get and maintain puck possession against? Is it simply a question of favorable matchups? Are they doing something we've never seen and can't figure out (I doubt it). Or do we just accept the fact that Boston is willing to sacrifice their offensive attack for the sake of limiting our chances and are willing to just play the patient, grinding, wear you out game until they capitalize? It just looks so HARD for us to do anything.

And is TD Garden known for slow ice? Or is it deliberately prepared that way to minimize our speed advantage?

GO SABRES!!!

1) Shoot more, pass less.

2) Quit hesitating clearing the puck. When you are 6 inches from the blue line don't start thinking fancy.

3) SHOOT MORE!!!

PTR

I been thinking that, too!!!! They need to shoot more instead of pass....I don't think we're the Red Wings!!!
