Stoner Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Sabres look like a horde of Mongols during the OT so far. Hope they don't run out of gas while trying to put one in. But the effort is there. They did deflate a little toward the end. But man that was an awesome overtime period.
Scotty Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Well.. I haven't drank a beer tonight. But I just cracked a Blue, and the last time i had one was the third period of game 1. Let's hope the hockey gods see this. Go Sabes All we need is one.......
Guest Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 well Miller saved us from a 3 - 1 deficit. Montador has amazed me tonight And Lydman almost put us in that 3-1 deficit. Wtf was he doing on that carry out? If Buffalo wins this game, the rest of the teams wives and gf's better be waiting in Miller's hotel room. :worthy:
Assquatch Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 The will is inside them. This series is about to be 2-2.
will Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 if tim kennedy had 4 more inches (of height), and 30 more pounds, buffalo would have a 3-0 series lead and looking to sweep tonight. as it is, he's got the guts i wish everyone on this team had. ennis, too, after a couple under his belt has really looked hungry compared to "the core."
ROC Sabres Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Will Vs. keep the game on, or will they go to the next game in the double header? I missed any announcement they made. Is it a full 20 minute intermission? You mean you have the game on VS? I had MMA and now a guy sleeping with a thong on his face?!?!?!
wjag Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 This game is going to be won/lost with a screened blue line shot. Let's hope it's Myers... and not ch.....err.. Lurch..
Eleven Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Welcome to Dick Jauron hockey! play not to lose  No way. The Sabres were all over Boston in the first OT. I'll bet dollars to nickels that Boston fans were scared to ###### because of the time that puck was in the Boston zone.
Stoner Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 this is nuts...really starting to affect me physically. I'm chewing my fingers off, yelling at the kids, and my stress-induced headache is not responding to motrin. Ladyfingers!

I'm chewing my fingers off, yelling at the kids, and my stress-induced headache is not responding to motrin. I don't have enough blood pressure medication in the house to settle me down. I'm gonna have a massive stroke. <-- not me blushing, that's my blood pressure.
FogBat Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 What really stinks is that if it weren't for those bogus calls in the 3rd, there wouldn't have been any overtime in this game.
ofiba Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 This game is going to be won/lost with a screened blue line shot. Let's hope it's Myers... and not ch.....err.. Lurch.. I think it ends on a McCormick penalty shot.

Kennedy's play has really impressed me tonight. He is singlehandedly trying to make amends for game 3.
Scotty Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 This game is going to be won/lost with a screened blue line shot. Let's hope it's Myers... and not ch.....err.. THE WOOKIE.. fixed :D
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Need same intensity as first overtime early, look for ennis to fake the stork and get one
Chief Enabler Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 So who's it gonna be? I say Ennis. GO SABRES!!! My theory on the offense is the inconsistency of the lines. Throwing ennis, torres, mccormick, vanek out, stafford 75%, Timmy being Timmy out there. I dont see the chemistry at all. The winner has to be a sloppy hidden gem somehow. I'll guess Roy! Gimme a tee-shirt!
ThePebble19 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 During the 10 minutes of no stoppage, I was gripping my son's fisher price basketball so hard that my fingers hurt....I didn't even realize it until I took a deep breath at the stoppage. It felt like I hadn't breathed in 10 minutes.
repster Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I'm sicker than a dog right now. Trying me best to watch in between sneezes, coughing, headaches, blowing my nose. I bet I will wake up tomorrow feeling like new if the boys pull it out.
ThePebble19 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 It's gonna be Lydman...I don't know why, it just is. All I know is that it's not going to be that Torres douche. He can't do anything right.
fallen627 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Well.. I haven't drank a beer tonight. But I just cracked a Blue, and the last time i had one was the third period of game 1. Let's hope the hockey gods see this. Go Sabes All we need is one....... why the ###### did you wait this long?
theend Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Same here, my stomach is starting to hurt, I better grab another beer..... If only I could drink at work... I'm so there -- at home, but crouched over the laptop on my couch (no Versus). I think it's even harder to listen to OT than watch it... I'm on pins and needles listening to RJ. No kidding...RJ is excellent, but sometimes his calls literally have me holding my head and 'not watching' (despite it being on the radio). The sign of a great announcer - I can picture everything just from his calls. this is nuts...really starting to affect me physically. I'm chewing my fingers off, yelling at the kids, and my stress-induced headache is not responding to motrin. I fear what will happen when someone scores and I cry out at work, either in joy, or worse, a string of curses that are definitely workplace inappropriate.
Guest Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 I am thinking a Mair or Torres get an ugly one for Buffalo. If it's Boston, then most likely Bergeron. He has had a few good chances. I just pray it's not that douche Mark Diarrhecci.
Scotty Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 My thoughts who wins it it either Torres or Grier (The best Drury we got on the team right now). I think I will still hang on to Ennis and Kennedy they out hustle everyone on the ice.
repster Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Who scored the last OT road goal for the Sabres in the Playoffs?
